I was going through a bunch on my list as well and was cursing Pat's name because nearly all of them were already signed by him, haha.
Pat's a smart dude, so I took this as a compliment that I was at least looking at some favorable prospects.
There's still a few on the table there, but they had really poor personal qualities.
My A and AA teams are always rife with conflict due to lazy and selfish players, so the last thing I want to do is bring in another doofus to add to the chaos.
I'm also wondering if my manager can help in that regard, or how much influence a happy clubhouse really has on the development of my kids.Brewers League Baseball

I don't have any problem with people signing a bunch of UDFA's. We all have to get back under the roster limits by the cutdown day, so any excess players will be back on the market. Everyone also has the same opportunity to sign them after draft day.
I always sign more than I need to and did it again this year. Pat got several of the players I was after (as did some others), but I'm happy with the guys I got. They'll help fill out my A-level roster and if I'm lucky maybe one or two will pan out as a BLB quality player at some point. I don't know that I've had any make it there yet in my time at Washington, but some are getting close. Micah Garlick is currently a top 100 prospect and will likely be on my active roster by next season. He's probably my biggest success from a UDFA so far in DC.Last edited by liquidcrash; 03-01-2017, 10:09 AM.Washington Bats, 2013-
