Figures I'd make my biggest trade in years and mess up the export so he sits on DFA. Nothing goes right and the Bats go 1-5. Oh well, I'll try again next time.

Dammit, I cut down to roster minimum without taking into account the rescout.

He should have a buyout of $1.5M (That's my bad and should be corrected).

I'll contact Brad, Z and Matt to make sure that's done.

              Pawtucket 3-3.

Since we have DFA at our disposal I went ahead and trimmed our roster to 30 for the next sim. Right now I'm more about getting the kids into position thru the system right away.

Bringing up some fringe players from AAA next week:

Switch hitter OF Ron Spitzer has been batting well over .320 for sometime now and want to see what he can do in the BLB.

Righty IF Nick Membreno can't stay healthy to save his life, but when healthy he seems to have gotten it. Some speed of the bench is needed.

              Keeping our eye on:

RP Dusty 'The Comet' Ramsey. Scout has him as 6-5-6 POT. He is finally beginning to play like it now in his 3rd season in AAA. Projects MR. He might join up with SP Marco Carrasco & SP Tommy Klingenberg come September.

All are 24+, what do we have to lose??

Seattle is down to 41 at Single-A but will use the additional sim to evaluate who makes the cut. The DFA is now just the five players I have on waivers. I spent almost $2M on minor league bonuses signing UDFA's which was probably a waste of money but at this point in the season, we are pretty bored.

We are pretty good at baseball.

Longtime Guide Nelson Herrera, our center fielder for many years, returns to Old Port this sim after rejoining the organization last month and playing at AAA. He is being recalled for this week's games.

Heading into this sim I was nervous Pat would scoop up all of my favorite UDFA. But somehow he didn't take Micah Messick

For whatever reason, my scout is raving about this guy. OSA disagrees but he's got the starting 2B job in A ball to prove who is right.

My scout thinks he is terrible and has low work ethic. But his 2019 is encouraging.

You can always count on me to do something stupid to sabotage my own team.

Thankfully, I've now managed to put Yonke on the active roster and my rotation is set instead of a jumbled mess. We'll see if we do any better.

I don't see what my scout is talking about either.

But he's either going to earn some big bucks in the future or be ignored soon. We shall see.

I say give it one more week. You don't need Yonke that bad.
