I think it's time to sell.

4-2 post Yonke. Thompson with two solid starts. We've got a real nice rotation, just need some of the younger bats to step up.

Somabitch! Just as I'm thinking of calling Londano up, he gets hurt and will be out for 5 weeks.
Oh well, not like he was going to help us win a Wild Card spot.

BTW, I'm going to cut Vonada. OOTP tells me it will cost me $1,901,235 over his last two seasons. But I think I owe him $1.5M to make up for the Team Option.

Can anyone confirm what it should cost me to cut this loser.

According to his contract specifics the buyout is $0.

Matt can we wait until Friday? There is a July re-scout that could impact decisions.

                      Sure that's fine. Good point.

The Mike Morla watch continues in California. Another week of his last Pokey Reese impersonation. Could it be that OOTP 17 just hates a certain player that OOTP 16 seemed to love. He's been tried throughout the batting order, and his ratings are through the rough, but he continues to rarely get the ball out of the infield.

Having said that, our rebuilt pitching staff is more than making up for, what is quickly becoming the most anemic in the league. Every game is a nail biter for an offence that leads the lead in OBP, but can't seem to buy an extra-base or two out hit when it is really needed.

To top that off, my idiot manager likes to pull Tom McGee (absolutely on fire, after his ice cold start) for light hitting JD Burrell.

Perhaps time to try AAA sensation Dave Rizer (0.380 AVG) with the big club.

Morla will be fine. Maybe it's a junior slump.

Guys seem to come back stronger I've seen. I had some guy that every 3 seasons he was bad. Then he was on fire. Forgot who it was.

So... Sending him to the minors is probably a little to Steinbrennerish!?
