5-1 week. Pitching is still brilliant. A 1.69 team ERA for the week will do just fine. Welcome to the Top Players list, Roger Villasenor. Our fourth starter on the list right now.
The lineup is still inconsistent, but we're scoring enough to make the pitching stand up right now. If we can score 4 runs per game with consistency, I feel like this team can win a lot of games.
Milt Dearborn checks in at #35 on the Top 100 Prospects list. I like it, but the game is in love with CF's on that list, so I'll consider myself cautiously optimistic. He's managed to steal 2 bases in A already. Seriously- he made one appearance as a pinch runner in the 9th, stole 2nd and 3rd and then scored the winning run.
I do like the guys I landed in this draft. Last year's #1 pick, Jimmy Harris, is coming to life as well. I like that kid too.
Another 3-3 SIM...and we're 9-10 for the month. It will be nice to get back Stark soon. And Baisden a few weeks later.
Nothing really exciting draft wise. Bieszk is #88 on the Top Prospects list. No one else even made it on our team Top Prospects list. Our drafts the last 3 seasons have been bad. We've had more success with UDFA's.
Morgantown - Bullpen Eats Large Bag of Dicks, Asks for Seconds.
3 games were blown (pun intended) because of my bullpen, and another game, which was 5-4 going into the 8th ended 10-4 because my relievers spread and coughed.
I swear, I'm not sure which gets blown more; games by my relievers or truckers at a Kodiak sponsored glory hole.
Thanks guys, you've been great! Please try the veal!

Great start to the week with a well-pitched sweep of Dallas at home and then took one of three on the road at Main. Still no discernible offence to be found in California, but we seem to be doing just enough to hang around.
Apparently our draft was a massive bust, as the top name on our prospect board is 6th round pick Sherell DePaul, with our #1 pick Garrett Pfeiffer comes in as our #16 prospect... Nice!

Pawtucket 4-3 as we seem to be stabilizing here in June a bit. We're not as bad off as we were last season record wise, but still not expecting the comeback we did last year.
I count 7 players debuting from this draft? I know the needle barely moved on my two existing pitchers on the list. With that we added 4 players on our team prospect report so feeling like we added some depth on the farm.
Kind of don't know what to make of my team and my prospects. We should be better than just .500 and my prospects from the last two drafts should be ranked somewhere by now. I doubt my legendary scout is really this far off.
I still need to move a pitcher or three.
