26 in AAA or AA. I moved a guy down a level.

Hopefully the tide is finally starting to turn in California. We finish the game with a big three game sweep of Indianapolis, after shitting the bed against the Dinos!

Our offence is still nowhere to be found. The pitchers are putting us in spots to win, but this team has little in the way of power with Tom McGee having all but disappeared.

No worries. I just changed all the names of your draft picks back to Dave Smith.

              Too soon?

Perhaps the best sim of the season for the Bats. We went 6-1, with a 4-game sweep of New York and taking 2/3 from Batavia. The starting pitching continues to carry us, they were pretty phenomenal again this week. Only Dropkick got a loss, and it was really the bullpen that let that one get away - he was pretty dang good. Dave Koehler picked up 2 wins, bringing him into a tie for the IL lead with 7.

But, in even better news, it was the lineup that finally showed up a bit. 32 runs in 7 games isn't an explosion, but it's great to see some hitters on the "Who's Hot" section for a change. With our pitching, we don't necessarily have to score a ton to win. Tristan Moody was our main man, he looks like an All-Star behind the plate.

5-1 Week finally, we created some ground in our Lager run and push enough for the #2 Seed in the DL... Let's see if we can keep up until our starters comeback. Cinelli is 4 days away to start pitching again. Salazar will be back in 2 weeks.

Williams did a fantastic debut in AAA, this guy will be ready to play the starting nod for the Sharks in 2021.

Barnard is flying as a lead off. Gomez is playing his best baseball... I love how the old players play in contract years.

Lost Tom Palmer for the year though. Calling up OF Tommy Horning to replace him.

We'll see if the lights are a little too bright for us down the stretch. Our squad is still pretty young!

Former Toronto (let's keep the theme going) starter C.J. Johnson has somehow managed to pitch 5 of his 6 games in Denver without surrendering a home run since being acquired.

That has to be some kind of record for us.

By the way, his road start was in Baltimore! Having a starter that keeps the ball in the park is very sweet.

In other news, T.J. Davis finally picked up win #5 this season which also happens to be his 89th career win - all with Denver. This is significant for us because it ties Davis with Melgoza for all-time wins for a Denver pitcher.

That says a lot about pitchers in Denver's long history. Davis currently ranks #2 in WAR for Denver pitchers. Way behind Denver great Jerry Dean who lasted 5.5 magical seasons before being traded away to Los Alamos and breaking down immediately.

3-3 week for the Brawlers. What's it say when a .500 week makes you feel good? Hayden is still playing well in AAA so going to have to think about bringing him up. Klotz has cooled of a bit so figure he'll spend the entire season in AAA along with SP Pat Wood who just hasn't quite seemed to get it yet.
