We aren't playing well... good thing no one else in the Bock is either. Our bullpen, injuries, and this road heavy schedule aren't helping. We sure do like to lose in extra innings.

Remember when I thought I would have a great defensive team? Yeah, not so much.

Ramires is not looking like the player I traded for to set-up. I need Vigueras to finish rehab and I need to trade for a high end pen arm. Anyone got one? I have a ton of future picks.

Another meh 3-3 Week, with our 2 best outfielders sidelined what can you expect? Looks like Deshon and Stewart are starting to adjust to our Roster... Good thing. Tommy Gantt still displaying great pitching from the mound and I am promoting him to the #4 Spot in the rotation right behind Lofink.

Cinelli is just one month to get back to the mound, he will pitch in the minors to tune up for another month, then hopefully he will steadly comeback to the Starting rotation relegating either Kauffman or Gantt to the bullpen and demoting one of my MRs... Letīs see who is traded or who hits the waivers... The competition is open.

J.J. Williams still killing it in AA, I canīt wait to promote him to AAA... Just 3 more sims until the drafted players hit our Roster!

          Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot understand what is wrong with my two headed monster of Morla and McGee!!!!!!!

Last year they combined to hit 54 home runs and drive in 198. This year, they continue to fail miserably in situations that could put the Kodiaks in position to win. Down one, up one, it almost doesn't matter, the result is the same... weak grounder for a double play, a strikeout, a meaningless fly ball with runners on that ends the inning or isn't deep enough to score anyone.

Having said that, we are somehow only two games under 0.500. If either of these two where having even an average season, it's not hard to envision that we'd be a game or two over 0.500. I guess that is the silver lining, when, and if, they finally heat up, we will still be within shouting distance of a wild card spot.

Trying to survive this month. We've now played 17 home games and 28 road games. I'll feel more comfortable when we start playing baseball at Old Port regularly again.

Seattle is 12-32 on the season but 7-9 in one run games. #bullpenstrength

We have now fallen to 26th out 26 in Starting Rotation Positional Strength. Pretty hard to win when every game we are facing a better SP. Did get a good performance this weak out of our "ace" Dave Kell - 8 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K in a 2-1 vs. New York. He deserves better than this.

In other news, Rory Gray has successfully made the transition to short stop it would appear. The long-time 2B is now 1st in the BLB in efficiency, rating and 2nd in range factor. Didn't not think that would happen.

Can't seem to get back over .500. Might blow it up at the deadline if things keep trending in this direction.

This version of Denver is more of the same which is a bit frustrating but interesting too.

Much like that late 2000s team that scored a bunch of runs, this one can score too. But we don't do it with an abundance of home runs and stolen bases. We just make contact and beat the ball into the gaps. (Though it's important for me to be aware that this explains our home vs road record)

We also can't pitch which is the real hard part because those late 2000s / early 2010s teams couldn't pitch enough to keep the ball out of the park.

And while I specifically have gone after guys that keep the ball down, and we have a better defensive outfield than before, nothing has changed.

So I'm intrigued. TJ better watch out because if Pitchford looks good after his injury and guys like CJ Johnson and Dave Gotschall pitch well, he might lose his job in the rotation. I don't care what I'm paying people. It's about wins and so far the lefties are handling their own.
