Goodhart has been there since the offseason. I think you are thinking about Honea and I didn't like the salary contribution being asked. He's also doing well.

No I'm thinking of last year when Goodhart was on the block and when I inquired you told me, "I'm not trading him."

It left me confused but I kept it moving.

What is happening here? The Tobs have won eight straight games. Also I've noticed the player card shows batter performance in low, medium, and high leverage situations now.

        Nice.

2-4, and definitely not the kind of week I was looking forward to. I understand Chicago, but in truth we shouldn't be losing to Seattle at home.

In the future, I'm going to have to focus on getting more durable outfielders. With both Farrow and Diaz both on the bench, we just don't have the power coming from the outfield to match the play of our starters. Over the years, it seems that we tend to get ravaged by injuries in these positions and it does a number on our playoff aspirations.

Dusty Filar (OF) had a good week and looks like he's going to be the guy I expected in the corner. He hit three bombs last week to go with a .469 OBP and generally looks comfortable on the team. Again if Farrow hadn't gotten hurt, I think we'd be playing a lot better offensively now.

At 24, Pat Bryan (2B) is in his 3rd full year as BLB player and finally playing at the level my scout has expected from him. He's hitting close to .300 and has 5 stolen bases on the year. He's starting to look like a solid leadoff guy and we look forward to seeing him progress.

Despite the poor week, our bullpen continues to deal, led by the stellar play of Edwin Carrasco. Through six weeks of the season, Edwin has still not allowed an earned run, walk, or home run. I've had some very good reliever performances over the years, but Baltimore has never had anyone dominate like this as a closer. We know it has to end at some time, but for now we'll enjoy the ride.

We're probably going to try something a little different next week. With the return of Dave Garner (IF), we are going to probably relegate William Kroll (SS) to bench duty. He's not going to be happy about that, so if you are looking to add a 34 year old lock down defender at a great price, feel free to inquire.

              Hey.

You could've kept him. All you had to do was pay 16MM per.

That wouldn't have felt like an overpay at all.

I offered $4 million over two and he skipped town.

Now that I'm hooked on live sims...

On a regular sim is there a way to 'watch' the games without getting the scores first?

Go to scores - check hide scores, then export so that setting will be saved.

When you download the SIM, squint your eyes so you don't see your new record at the top of the screen and navigate to the BLB scores menu. Go back 7 days and click watch replay on your game.
