This is quickly becoming the worst hitting team I think I've ever had. I knew we weren't going to lead the IL in runs again, but I never expected this. I can understand some of it - natural regression from a career year or old age. But, I'm not sure I could have reasonably expected someone like CJ Turnbow to become a complete liability. Two years of solid hitting to start his career and apparently he was hit by a truck in the offseason. Similar story for Tom Abrams and Morales doesn't appear to have aged gracefully.

Thankfully we can really pitch. It keeps us in games even when we struggle to score more than 2 runs.

Positive developments from the farm. Kevin Langford pushes to #22 on the Top Prospects list. I didn't expect him to be in the BLB this season, but now I'm trying to get him to learn 1B quickly enough to take Turnbow's spot.

Also, we have a new Top 100 prospect in Micah Garlick. The former UDFA is #98 and is killing the ball in AAA.

Pitching starting to regress a tad, but we're treading water. Need to get some offensive help ASAP.

Pat Beckel went 6 for 6 against Wilmington. Always had a feeling that he was gonna rake.

This has been a really weird season so far. I don't understand why my offense is doing so well, or why my pitching is struggling so much. I was hoping that by standing pat and letting some guys mature this offseason I'd be able to have an average offense to go along with my awesome pitching. Instead, we're leading the IL in scoring and are average on defense. I'm making some moves to sacrifice some of that offense for better defenders in hopes that that turns this around somewhat. I'm not happy with being .500 at this point.

4-2 sim, swept Los Alamos and lost 2/3 to a feisty DVS team. Sitting in 2nd place for now- need a lot more consistency from the offense.

Looks like the DFA problem is fixed now hopefully.

3-3 sim is pretty good here in Seattle, especially on the road at Batavia and Baltimore. We even took two of three from the Bulldogs, the only loss 1-2 in the 11th.

Down on the farm, top prospect SP Tom "Domino" King celebrated his 20th birthday and the minor league system report says he is "Ready for Triple-A." Feels rushed... My little baby's all growns up.

The SAME exact May we had from 2019. Least this year I can say were less talented, but I'm at a loss about 4 STRAIGHT GAMES without one run!!!!

There is still enough talent on offensive to least generate freaken one per game.

I'll play around with the lineup, but knowing the game fairly well you go thru strange trends over the years and we just happen to be in that poor beginning of the year funk which will least 3-4 seasons.

                      2025 is looking up!

Patton Has Words With Fan After Loss

                        Tuesday, May 12th, 2020

After losing tonight, Seattle Pilots' center fielder D.B. Patton exchanged words with a heckling fan outside the ballpark. The fan taunted Patton about his performance and Patton lashed out with a tirade of expletives. Fans were upset by Patton's reaction and many have asked for an apology. Patton chose to make no comment on the matter.

The Brawlers go 2-3 for the week losing a pair to Carolina and taking two extra inning contest from Washington out of the 3 game series. We are not a good road team. Last week we bashed the ball and this week we managed a grand total of one home run. This is a fickle game for sure.

Carolina went 5-0 so eat it DAvenport and Denver.

Goodheart, who is on the block, has been having a great year for those of you in contention.

                              An actual winning week? Yesssss...

It was nice taking two from Cal-ee-for-ne-a too.
Especially when former Kodiak, Vinny Flores blasts a 3-run, walk-off HR.

Rumour has it, after touching home base, he immediately ran into the Kodiaks wives-section and impregnated every one of them - much to their delight.
The Kodiak players knew it was best to sit back and let the master work.
Travis Gerlach remarked, "Vinny Flores made love to my wife and it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen!"

The 2040 draft will be awesome. It will become The Face Full of Flores Draft.
