I'm not sure I DFA'd all of my players- for sure, my DFA is cleared up now so I'm eager to see what it will look like with the next sim.

I think let's all be diligent with clearing our DFA and see what the next sim shows.

I think we tracked down the issues recently - if you have the "prevent AI roster moves" function checked, then I believe that some flags are not getting cleared properly, and you might run into the above problem. So you can either disable that flag for teams and their players should then get released properly.

It won't fix the other players who are stuck in that limbo state, but should prevent the same issues going forward.

I checked and the teams that seem to be having issues have that box checked. Teams like KC do not. I am going to uncheck all the boxes and see if this helps for next SIM. Let me know who is in limbo though so they can be free again!

I recall one of my league commissioners saying they would be disabling that button but I had no idea why.

I asked Matt if there would be any issues now with the AI messing with our rosters.

The AI shouldn't touch them as long as the human team's options are set correctly. I can understand the desire to have that extra level of check there, but don't believe it's strictly necessary. Just be careful that they have all their options set to the human manager, and that they're not set to the "do not disturb". The checkbox is more meant if you want to essentially manually control an AI team without them actually being under control of a human GM.

It's a Commish setting for each team.

They are all unchecked now. Hoping for the best. Really pleased that OOTP responded so quick.
