Really? I'm sorry. I thought I released or moved everyone on a roster.

Guys...when over 50% of the league have DFA/roster issues it makes the SIM really hard and long to run. Either we are having issues with exports (Z's issue) or people don't care.

We used to fine people for every time there was an issue. I don't like that because I know real life interferes sometimes are we move pretty fast...but if this is not an export issue please be more mindful.

Really? I'm sorry. I thought I released or moved everyone on a roster.

Most teams had 1 or 2. Sometimes they get lost or people forget to scroll when they have a bunch of DFA's.

A 5-1 week that I'm happy to see. We sweep an injury riddled, DVS squad and are able to take 2 of 3 from the Brawlers. No complaints.

Offensively, it no longer looks like the 1-man traveling act, starring 1B D.J. Gosser, that was seen in 2019. One month into this season, we are seeing a much more balanced offense than last year. Last week we got crucial contributions from SS Tom Perry and 2B Pat Bryan. Even aging Bulldogs' favorite, 31 year old outfielder and team leader, Malik Roberson seemed to be able to recapture a little of the magic of his younger days, going yard three times this week.

When it comes to pitching, we currently sit 3rd in the BLB in WHIP, trailing only New York and Dallas, two teams with more pitcher-friendly home parks than Phillips Field. Newly signed closer, Edwin Carrasco has not surrendered a single earned run, walk or home run, racking up 11 saves in the process. Fellow bullpen teammate and setup man, Tom "The Artist" Monk, wasn't too far behind him either. The Texas native has given up just 2 earned runs, 0 home runs, just 1 walk and 21 strikeouts to date. To add to those two dominant performances, the 200MM import, Alex Dominguez has struck out 34 batters in just 26 innings while walking just three batters. I can honestly say I've NEVER had a team that exhibited this type of control on the mound.

The team looks confident and I like the way we are competitive for almost every game. Our starters and offense look decent enough, but our pen looks just plain NASTY right now. I'm sure we'll see some ebb and flow over 162 games but to sit 2 games off the leader after a month of play is very encouraging after the last two years of terrible play by this franchise.

Next week we head out on a 7 game road trip facing Chicago, Davenport and DVS.

Great UFA signing by Pittsburgh SS Jimmy Nagy, we also offered him a contract this week.

Great SIM for the Sharks, we are now tied with the Dukes for the 1st position in the Lagger after a 5-2 week against direct play-off contenders at Home.

22 Year old Center fielder O.P. Williams won the DL Rookie Star of the Month, I was unsure about giving him the full time role but the former first round pick answered with .313 AVG, 7 doubles, 3 Home runs, 10 Bases on balls, 13 Runs and 10 RBIs. Way to go buddy, fantastic.

Catcher Erik Gault just contacted us to extend his contract... I will have to think about it, depending on how J.J. Williams performs in AAA after the Draft...

LHP C.J. Cohen will stay in Dallas 3 more years for $6M. Acquired from Seattle last year he have been a good asset for our bullpen.

RHP Dilan Mincey won the Mash April´s Top Pitcher award with 6 Saves, 2 Wins and no scored allowed. We don´t expect him to reach the BLB, but is always sweet when one of your prospects wins an Award.

It should be something wrong with the releases...

I did cut 2B Johnny Cross last SIM, now if you search him he shows as the member of my AAA Team, he appears in my Player´s window as he was in my Roster, however he doesn´t appear in my AAA Team´s Screen and neither counts in my AAA Roster...

Joey Kane, acquired in the Rod Sedivec trade, wins IL Rookie of the Month. He doesn't come close to giving us the defense Rod did in CF, but his bat has been a pleasant surprise.

We're a flawed team. The pen is still horrible. It makes a lot of sense for a big trade to happen to fill some of these holes. Stay tuned!

That's weird about the DFA, because I know I cleaned mine up. I left two guys on: one still had 7 days left and the other 21.

I handled all of my DFA, Matt.

Something is wrong with how the game is handling releases.

I'll add this, I knew there would be a DFA issue because the way the game handled the releases when I did them was very weird.

I selected release player and the player disappeared. There was no confirmation asking me if it's what I really wanted. When you play a game for so long you know how things work. It seemed off.

The three players I released were the ones Matt ended up having to release on his own. I assume because they remained on my DFA with 0 days when Matt handled imports.

I'm not sure why the game isn't handling these releases appropriately, however.

Maybe first step is making sure everyone is on the right version of the game?

I placed Anthony on my BLB roster when I was cleaning up DFA. Yet the transactions log doesn't show this activity.

Instead it only shows the steps Matt took which are his three releases. According to the game, no one ever promoted Anthony. But that can't be. He's right there on my roster.

Sorry Matt that the sim was such a headache but I want to make sure you know that so far it seems 4 of 4 guys are confirming they took the steps necessary to avoid DFA issues and it didn't take.
