Ethan Romey era in Pittsburgh is officially under way, complete gam - oh wait.
1.1-7-8-7-4-3 good for an ERA of 47.
One month to turn it around buddy.
Outside of that, 4-2 start to the year is solid. Jamie O with 3 dingers to start the year is a beautiful thing

Not too happy with a 3-3 start, but can't be too upset either. Lee is off to a good start, with 3 HR, 5 RBI and 5 runs for the week. Ratley did not, with a .136 BA for the week. We really need Ratley to come around soon, or I'm going to have to start looking at other options at 1B. I can't have that position be the worst batter in my lineup. He's only 24, but being a 3rd overall pick at a position that really only requires you to hit the ball he needs to be producing at this point. If he kicks it up a notch we can turn these weeks where we go 0-3 in one run games into positives.

Another lousy start in Kodiakville!! It'd be nice to burst out of the gate. Our new setup man was drilled early and often, which offset the wonderful start for Wilkinson.GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present

We got off to a nice 5-1 start. Taking care of Morgantown and California.
Also extended Ted Hatch. Debated this for a long time. But I'm officially going to put him in the rotation when he returns. It's a risk but we're hoping he'll be an effective starter at $7M per year.Toronto Canadians - 2004-

Definitely a bargain if he can actually start.
I never know what to do with those borderline players. I've got the same situation with J.P. Lawrence, who the game now has as a "Borderline Starter" and my scout gives a summary that says he can start. I'll leave him in the bullpen for now.Washington Bats, 2013-

I'd rather the guys have productive careers as relievers than try to keep them as starters and blow their arms out.

Also the little game recaps are very well done. It makes it easier to quickly get snapshots of other team results around the league.
