Ouch! I may be forced to play him for 20 years on the bench just to get away from the Marquez stench.

                    • After much back and forth between two other prospects, Seattle selects: SP Tommy Fontenot. Few things I liked about him:

-Velocity has gone up 6 times since 11/18
-This season only two stud prospects from another class out pitched him
                      -62% GB
                      -3 plus pitch potential
-He was the last remaining player remaining on the initial Draft Class e-mail
-He was by far the highest remaining player on my scouts Draft List at #12.

                      Funclown is on the clock.

                      • Pawtucket finally takes a pitcher SP Jamie Norris

Scout has him at 5-6-5, OSA 5-6-6. Liked his stats at the Cape level.

Another guy with velocity issues, but he's a young 20 and would be happy with a few bumps.

There were other pitchers here, but wasn't thrilled with stamina. Seems a 4 right now in this version your asking for trouble. Then again, what do I know??

One more pick in this round.

                        • I had been going back and forth on Fontenot and Norris since the early 2nd round. Good pick. Surprised he lasted as long as he did. I'm sure the velocity/fragility scared people off but I think he will be good.

                          • Will trade 3.2 and 4.2 if any of the upcoming teams want an extra pick.

                            • Grabbed SP Zack Scott with my first pick of this draft. My scout likes him a little more than OSA does. His stats aren't great, and his intangibles are pretty terrible. I'm willing to take the chance because my scout sees him as having a high ceiling and I have a marked lack of left handed pitchers.

Was considering him at 1.19 before I saw that his intangibles are shit. Great value pick at this point though.
