Or the draft where you acquired the third of the Sensational Southpaws.

Agreed! Whaley was our target at 2.12 which seemed possible, as our scout had him as the 22nd best prospect. Oops!

        That is possible too.

The Pilot rotation should be special starting in 2022.

I think he could be very good. I thought about moving into the late 1st to get him.

          Good pick.

            • My scout wasn't his biggest fan but I feel like King, based on stats, intangibles, switch hitting, OSA potential, etc. is a guy who goes Top 15 in some of our recent drafts.

Haha thanks man. Nice bat, great defensive first baseman, he can run a little bit, and good intangibles. Don't usually like taking 1B this early, but we'll take a shot on King.

                • King was one of the guys I debated on at 2.4. My scout did not like him at all but those stats and OSA ratings along with those intangibles were hard to overlook.

                  • Pawtucket really happy to see SS Alex Velez still available. My scout and OSA agree 5-5-5-5-7. Possibly a 2B, but we shall see.

We haven't been this excited about IF in the second round since .....SS Lona. So expect Pawtucket to trade him within a year and go on to have a hall of fame career.

I have yet another SS right here also, but gonna take a harder look at this pick. Also weighing on some trade offers.

I'm a fan of Velez. Was hoping to see him around at 3.10, but knew it was a long shot.

                        • 1B Tom 'Boomerang' Wanzer. Guys I know he plays 1B, but dam. I just could't pass up his power potential.

1B gets a bad wrap on this league, but alot of times they end up being the anchor of your offense.

Looks like we might be going all O in this draft. Last pick or trade coming up next.

                          • I liked Wanzer quite a bit. I just took a 1B-only player last year in the 1st, but was still interested in Wanzer.

I almost took him in the 1st, but didn't because he is a (horrible) 1B. Good to know I may have avoided some ridicule because lord knows I want to avoid that in my online fake baseball league.
