What would be really cool is if you could figure out how to have him pitch and catch at the same time.

It didn't last long because he got hurt pitching shortly after.
Now was he because he played 1B, maybe not. Also it was OOTP 12 I think. It's been a while.Denver Bulls

Drafting on limited sleep takes a bit longer to make player comparisons.
Nevertheless, we draft OSU star, Carl Abadee. Abadee has potential as a solid catcher but may even be better as a pitcher as he is rated 7-6-6 by OSA and 7-6-5 by my scout as a 2-pitch pitcher. Carl has a 6 as a pitcher and 4 as a catcher in positional ratings according to OSA as well.
I'd like to think a kid with this kind of flexibility, Carl adds a lot of value to our organization and on the future trade market.
I'm looking forward to seeing how he pans out.
I tried using Kuwata as both a 3B and pitcher.
He did not do well as a pitcher, haha.Brewers League Baseball

Sorry for the wait gentlemen. We moved up to grab 17 year old ss Dave Rushin. His fielding ratings (although not positionally) are great in both the infield and outfield. Both OSA and my scout have him rated fairly equally 6/5/3/5/6. That and his intangibles; high leader/work, and low greed, made the jump to grab him seem worth the price. That and Kelly going of the board just a few picks earlier.GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present

We went with 17 year old OF TJ Leiden with 2.10. Ratings wise, my scout thinks Leiden is an absolute monster at the plate. With his stats, I thought for sure he'd be an early first round pick. The only hitter with better ratings on our board went first overall. He needs to grow defensively, and there's a lot to develop in his 3+ minor league seasons, but we are excited about his potential.

I love the variability in scouts in this version. A few years ago, every pick seemed to go +/- one spot of my scout at the time. Now everyone's boards are totally different. Awesome!!GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present

My scout had him 7-6-7-5-8. I couldn't figure out why he would fall that far. Those ratings in the past usually meant top 10, easily. Now, I can't make any sense of it, other than incorporating other input more than I have in the past, such as OSA, stats, intangibles.GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present

Price was too high to get 2.7 but this might be forever remembered as the draft I pasddd on Whaley and Leiden.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Speaking of which. Would it be possible to hire two scouts?? One that favours tools and one that favours ability. I'm not sure what the difference is in the game, but it would be a nice cross-reference.GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present
