I doubt any would sign with you.

They never learned how to sign a contract in any of the fake classes they're taking.

And here I thought they were worried about getting "tripped" up.

            • I wanted Abadee. A guy I wanted to trade up to get.

I think he could be a really good reliever.

              • My scout thinks Abadee has the potential to be a BLB catcher, but has him 7-7-7 as a reliever. Very interesting prospect.

                • Sorry for the delay.

Drafting on limited sleep takes a bit longer to make player comparisons.

Nevertheless, we draft OSU star, Carl Abadee. Abadee has potential as a solid catcher but may even be better as a pitcher as he is rated 7-6-6 by OSA and 7-6-5 by my scout as a 2-pitch pitcher. Carl has a 6 as a pitcher and 4 as a catcher in positional ratings according to OSA as well.

I'd like to think a kid with this kind of flexibility, Carl adds a lot of value to our organization and on the future trade market.

Hoped he'd drop to 2.7. Oh well... 5 left on my board but all from a different tier. I'll pick in 30m if I don't get an offer I like for either (or both). If you want one I'm looking for future draft picks (any year) - not this draft.

I mostly rely on OSA and stats. This guy is a hitting machine. His Eye sucks but my scout thinks it will get better. High work ethic. Super fast. Hopefully he can play 2B/SS down the road And he won 3 HS titles!

I'll be interested to see how you use him.

Do you plan on playing him at both positions throughout the season? Because THAT would be awesome. I wanted to do with this win Ernie Nunn back in the day but didn't land him in the draft.

Yea. I did that with a SS who went on to be an ok BLB reliever for Pawtucket. His name escapes me right now. But he didn't have anywhere near Abadee's talent on either side of the ball.

Otero on my team did both but ended up a much better hitter. I think the game will probably make it clear they are better as one or the other.

                            • I did it with TJ Cook and he ended up getting seriously hurt and it ruined his career.

He didn't spend that much time as a hitter, did he?
