Went with Dante Elliott. Probably projects as a closer, but I think he'll be dominant regardless.

Dammit, really thought he'd get to me at 1.24.

Went with SP Pat Bieszk.

My scout has him at 6-6-6 and Top 10 in the draft. OSA has him 6-5-7. Four pitchers, good enough stamina, not very bright. Tore his triceps last year. We'll keep him on a low pitch count and see what happens.

Like this pick a lot- just needed to go with the best bat at this point but 1b for me was Biesk.

For my pick, I took 3B Ted Reilly. My scout and OSA are in agreement on his main ratings: 6-6-7 (CON-GAP-POWER). He won't walk a lot which is atypical for my team but I need some power hitters. I will also say that both my scout and OSA have been consistent on his contact and power ratings over the last 12 months which helped me make this pick.

Finding a position will be tougher- I'm hoping he develops into at least a mediocre 3B. I have serviceable 3B for now but think this guy could be a superstar.

That lack of a position is what made me take Pfeiffer over Reilly. I have too many DH/1B/RF already. I loved his ratings and power potential though.

Went Geoff Kelly. Torn betwixt he and another player but ultimately, I went with upside. My scout thinks he could have star potential, and the chance to add a switch hitting SS with his speed and potential bat was too appetizing.

I'm deferring to OSA here a bit, as my scout isn't quite as high on him as a hitter. He sees him as a better defender than OSA though, and I'm willing to take a bet on the very high work ethic. Has the stats, won awards, on the top players and top prospects list. Still may look into trading into the 2nd if the deal is right.

Great hitting and fielding stats, VH work ethic and intelligence, and a nickname. What's not to love?
