My scout likes Jennings alot. Rolling the dice a bit here since the kid is only 16.

I like Gallion a lot. He was #1 on my board after selecting Niebauer. Not a great defender and pretty poor intangibles, but his stats are unreal. 19 HRs this year. A 30 game hitting streak. From a catcher?

I thought he had a chance to go much earlier.

I'm not too worried about his defense. He handles pitchers well. His arm is poor and Vickers will probably steal ten bags a year against him, but there aren't many base-stealing threats in today's BLB.

I was hoping his cancerous personality might have him drop to the bottom of the 1st round. Guess not.
His stats are insane.

I don't think he's that bad. His work ethic is low, but not "very" low.

He's not smart. He's not a leader.

But he's not greedy. He's relatively loyal. He cares about winning.

I think he'll be okay.

He's good. He only has 2 pitches, so unless a third one is learned, he's definitely a closer. But I like him.
