Me, I use scouting as a backup and rely mostly on stats and Whaley and Banda don't excite me with their current year stats.
So you've been speaking with Shark? You guys got it all figured out.

There's a lot of assumptions here. Who said I selected Banda because of my scout? I said OSA and my scout.

His last year stats don't excite you? How about batting .398 the year before when not injured? But doesn't matter.

OSA has Whaley as a 76547. But no Delandis selected him because he trusts his scout too much. Whaley batted. 396/.512/.634 and those stats don't excite you??

    Doesn't even make sense.

    • I really like the Pfeiffer pick. He was the #2 hitter on my board and I would have tried to move up to get him at 1.13 if he was still there. Nice pick.

I'm a big fan as well.

My scout doesn't like him as much as OSA but still thinks he could be one of the best in the league at the position. Very high leadership. Durable. Isn't the best defender but he can spend time at 1B/DH in California, too.

            • KC trades up to get 3B Tommy Young from UNC. He probably wasn't the best hitter left on the board but is putting up very impressive numbers in the NCAA. I also think he has the potential to be an excellent defender at 3B, SS and 2B.

Pfft, I've hardly got it all figured out, just putting my opinion out there.

I wasn't saying trusting your scouts was wrong, but that I just don't like to play that way.

Looks like Whaley was a typo, I didn't mean him. He looks good. Looking at them again, I might've looked at Banda twice and got confused.

Maybe I was looking at Maney. I don't know now. His AVG dropped but so did his Ks. Not sure who I meant to mention.

All good. We needed some arguments here. No one wants to do it.

                    • Pawtucket held its pick and went off gut drafting C Ian Johnson .

My scout is different from OSA predicting more a power hitter, but I tend to go the with OSA on views. He has the look of a more solid hitter. Catching ability? Well he's only 17, so its a wait and see on that.

Worst case we end up with a really nice hitting 1B IMO.

Dam up again and this next pick I'm really torn.

I go almost solely off of my scout. I'm jaded because of how shitty OSA was in the early stages of BLB though.

                          It's an adjustment for sure.

I remember when Markus made it a point to improve OSA. The league scouts shouldn't be so dumb.

I'm the opposite these days. I favor OSA over my scout in many cases. Ideally I find somebody who they agree on.
