Honestly, wouldn't have hated trading out of the pick.
I had Pulido as a Top 15 pitcher and he fell to the second round because of an injury. One of my favorite picks. I wish I was as good at finding hitting gems as I am at finding starters...

I was hoping the DeGennaro injury would allow him to drop to 5.

                Should've known better than that.

Chose to move up 1 spot to grab SP Josh Stokes. Like all his numbers but his high intelligence and high work ethic was enough to put him over the next pitcher on my list. Glad to have him join the club as are short on pitching.

Good pick. I can move down from #4 now. Looking to stay in the top 10.

I loved Stokes and he was the other player I was considering at #2. He is a strikeout pitcher so the 4 stamina is a little concerning but I still think he'll be great and the Durable injury rating is a nice bonus.

Another solid pick. I like Stokes.

I don't pick until 25, but I'd be interested in acquiring an early pick. 25 might be too far for someone to move back, but if you're interested in moving out, I could send young pitching or perhaps more-ready prospects.

Seattle selects... SP Enrique "The Artist" Bernardi

At the time of the trade I wasn't even 100% sure who I would take. I strongly considered three prospects for 1.6 and was prepared to to just take whichever fell to me at the spot. But after Stokes went off the board, I felt Bernardi was the last "ace" level prospect available in the draft so we moved up two spots to nab him. In a deep draft that 3.23 will probably be a good player but I think Bernardi is worth it.

I like Bernardi, but that isn't who I thought Seattle would pick.
