He can play all three outfield positions and his speed ratings are maxed out across the boards. His infield ratings are decent as well, so he might be somebody that can be a utility player for us, able to fill in just about anywhere.
That's a really cool description, why you didn't pick him in the 2nd Round instead? :)

OSA doesn't like him at all, so I kinda figured he'd drop. I'm guessing that if Pat didn't have 10 picks in the last two rounds he'd have fallen to me. Pat's list has to be pretty short at this point.

      • Jeralds was on my list, but I'm pretty sure his personality summary says something like "uncoachable," which I don't think I've seen before. Still, if he kept falling I'd have eventually picked him.

You think I'm a prick you should hang out with Jamie Jeralds!

I liked Pool. Solid bench option who has great OF range and great speed for pinch-running.

With our last pick we went with C A.J. Duncan. Defends the position well, high work ethic and my scout think's he's better than OSA.

He is pretty cancerous, but my scout sees his potential at 5-7-6, so he's definitely worth the headache for a 6th rounder. I know he'll probably never hit that potential, especially with his intangibles, but it's still a great get for this point in the draft.

I already have some cancer in my pitching staff with Kopp, Johnson, and Schlein all having Very Low work ethic and pretty poor rankings elsewhere. You probably saved me from myself in the long run.

                  My scout sees him similar.

I think as long as we have some funds in the development budget and he is on winning teams, he could reach the major leagues. But that's a long road. He doesn't turn 18 until December and my scout has his control a "2" currently.

There are a number of them. But I'm only just now picking one because I could not prior.

                      • Two pitchers selected strictly off osa ratings. To get 5/5/7 and 5/6/6 ratings, regardless of stats, I'll take it.

                        • There sure are a lot of Daves in this draft. 21 selected so far, still like 70 more to choose from.

Is there a mod out there for more modern/hipster baby names?

                              I can't believe I'm asking that.
