Scout is getting paid 1.6 right now and he refuses to sign an extension?? What a dick. Good luck getting that amount in the open market.

Pawtucket 15-13 for Spring. Injuries didn't hit anyone of importance.

Lets get this season rolling and see what we got.

I take Dunham out of the rotation- he still pitches and is out for the year. Wonderful waste of money just like Reeves last year.

Damn guns.... At least we will be able to have an extended look on Clark or Romero. I am still in the fence with this.

I mentioned yesterday Voodoo Davila will have a significantly lighter catching workload this year.

The Guides signed Norm Deiwert to be the main guy helping Davila behind the plate. Deiwert will join the club in a week or two after getting some reps at AAA to shake off the offseason rust.

Unless it has changed, there is an option to bench a player. It's in player strategies. Too late now but for the future.

That sucks. Feel bad for "Double D", the best nickname in the BLB, too. I have seen multiple GMs get fucked by moving a SP out of the rotation only to have them pitch out of the pen. There are two ways to prevent this:

                  1. Go to the player strategy page and edit their "bench player for X days."

                  2. Or, you can leave them in the #6 spot of the rotation, but change your settings to only a 5-man rotation, and then the #6 spot won't pitch.

                  --

In Seattle news, we struck out on CF Jamie Urmson. He doesn't really "fit" but to land a Top 15 player, who is super popular at a premium position, this late in the FA game would have been nice. He took $1M more to play for Batavia. Smart move by him. The other few FAs I had my sights on also signed this sim including C Norm Deiwart to Maine.

In BLB news, Morgantown CF Willie Londono is the #1 prospect in baseball! He was #3 on my draft list for 1.23, but I went with SP Chas Brooks. He was #2 on my draft list at 2.23, but I went with 3B Donnie Benoit. Londono went 2.24 and ever trade talk I had with Morgantown there after, I brought up Londono. I never thought he would sky rocket like this, but...what could have been!

Benoit is gonna be good. If I didn't draft Molina he would have been in Vegas later in that draft.

I swear on this , Pawtucket has the most spoiled fans in the BLB.

As soon as things turn south they are off fishing.

Both my picks hit so it's not a huge deal just shocked to see Londono at the top spot.

I don't think that one works as of OOTP 17. You used to be able to leave the pitcher in the unused sixth spot, but now if you switch the option to five-man (or fewer), it automatically drops him to the bullpen tab.

Londono was #2 on my board after Sliney, whom I obviously felt strongly enough about to have him skip the minor leagues entirely. I got a ring out of the pick, so I have no regrets. (Though the 21 year old Sliney is still finding his groove as a hitter, he has an .876 OPS in 67 postseason plate appearances.)

I'm a little baffled by Tom Antonietti and how he's come out of nowhere for me. Must have been the 16 to 17 conversion because my scout was never that high on him in 16. He's now rated the 11th best prospect in the BLB.

OOTP 17 values defensive ability super highly in the rankings.

Antonietti is one of the very best defensive prospects around. Plus he had a terrific year with the bat in 2019.
