As long as people don't overpay in FA signing a star player should cost between $20-$25m a year.

The challenge is player evaluation and deciding if your 3-6 WAR player is a superstar.

I feel like int'l free agents should be held to a different standard. But I'm salty because I wanted Dominguez and Carrasco and I'm basically priced out of getting any great/star players.

Urmson was asking for 35-40M per season, for 5+ years all season long. Lippert slightly less than that.

With those two out the door, I no longer have superstars, or at least anyone that will be needing a new deal this year.

But I'm sure we'll see asking prices well above 25 for many guys, just hopefully we'll all be able to find reasonable deals.
