I forgot that with the move to OOTP 17 we now have Game Recaps! Can't wait to read those things. They are actually very well-done.

Game recaps as in a dynamically created recap with color commentary? Or is it just a glorified box score? I haven't played around in 17 at all so am not familiar with this.

                Another addition for 17:

Recoded scouting algorithms, young players are more often overrated and veterans are more accurately scouted.

As in a game recap inside the box score.

Pagán Helps Fort Collins Cruise to 14-2 Win
The Fort Collins Owls thumped the Puerto Rico Bulldog Bats, 14-2, at Owl Nest at Horsetooth Stadium. Rubén Pagán was a big reason his team got the win. Pagán went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 4 times and driving in 5. Foster Terry, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 6 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 11-8. Tim Roberts earned the save, his 1st, for the Owls.

The Bronx, New York-born Randy Doss came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd and the Owls trailing 1-0, he hit a 3-run home run to left to put Fort Collins on top.

"The Owls definitely had our number," said Puerto Rico manager bulldog 55.

The Owls are now 63-43, while the Bulldog Bats fall to 43-62.

                    Good variety.

                    Ravens Roll Over Kornholes, 11-4
London first baseman Alberik Almgren had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the DeKalb Kornholes, 11-4. Marv Fields earned the win to go to 4-5. He allowed 4 earned runs on 10 hits, with 1 walk and 1 strikeout. DeKalb has now lost 4 straight.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, center fielder Pedro Hernández came through big-time for the Ravens. With London leading 5-3, he belted a 2-run home run.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Almgren said (again).

Seems to explain the changes we've all seen.

                      • 2019 Offseason SIM 0.75 will be run later this afternoon.

Gonna do another test run to check on releases/ARB issues, process trades, change all teams back to GM only, and give control back to the GM's.
