I declined RJ Manning's option and it shows up in the HTML this way, yet he still appears on my roster in-game?

Do you think that maybe the players you released didn't get released because Free Agency hasn't started?

Maybe a way for OOTP to block those situations where players get released early and then signed before free agency?

I mean, when I hit the release player button, they immediately — in my copy of the game — appeared with "no team" in free agency and there was a transaction log entry for them being released.

Yeah, I non-tendered a few guys and they're still showing up as part of my payroll as well. I figured they were immediate free agents.

Yeah. Either a one time weird thing with Matt or next year we see it happen again and then we know it's something about this time of year.

I think we just keep the 11-1 sum handy just in case, but maybe we are seeing things that we normally wouldn't because of the sim. We don't normally stop a sim at this point in the season, right?

We normally sim up to arbitration or FA filing.
