But hey on the bright side we caught the issue now and there's plenty of times to a.) fix things and b.) make sure everything is working smoothly.

We can now choose to have a manager but override him, correct?
It would seem to be in the best interest of all clubs to switch back to having a manager as they influence team chemistry and player development. I think it might be in the best interest of the league to make that the rule, actually.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Everything is fine with my export, and no one else has had any issues. I'd go with user error.
2.) The Burrows extension was one I submitted when I first downloaded the OOTP 17 file multiple days ago and quickly realized I didn't want to submit, so I withdrew it.
3.) The arbitration changes I made yesterday did go through in the export.
4.) The roster changes I made — most notably releasing Twinkle Toes — on the other hand did not go through.

OR, Option B: there's also the chance that this is something I did. I may have tested importing the files into my copy of the game knowing/thinking that I would be the next to run and would therefore overwrite anyone's other exports? Then I created a new file for Garion which may well have included some of those unintended transactions?Philly Freedom

It's under the Add/Edit Human Managers function that the commish can edit.
There is a play mode box...where you can select GM, Manager, or GM & Manager
Teams that are currently GM & Manager:
KC
Maine
Denver
Seattle
Washington
Batavia
Indy
Pawtucket
Death Valley
Carolina
Hartford
Windy City
LAD
Cal
Wilm
I'm all for turning everyone back to GM since we can now override the Manager's decisions, but you're gonna have a hot run on managers if we force it after this SIM when the options can be changed and a new file is uploaded.

For example, Tom Johnson was called up to Maine.
But I definitely released Alvarez and Herlein. When I loaded up my copy of the game an hour ago to download the newest file, it said right on the front screen under recent transactions that they were released.
Instead, they're bizarrely showing as a part of my organization in this file, but they're not (1) on my active roster, (2) on my 40 man roster, (3) on any other roster, or even (4) in DFA. I can only find them via the player search feature or by going to the Players tab and selecting "All Players in Organization."
Before they had been on my active roster.
So clearly the game recognizes I tried to do something with them. But they just kind of disappeared instead of being released.
Furthermore I'm certain I released them before making the roster changes that included calling up Johnson.Maine Guides

For those of whose who chose to go the GM+Manager route when we switched, it looks like our old managers were freed up during this transition. At least, I think that's what happened. I remember seeing my old manager, Bao Cahn, still assigned to my team in-game even though he wasn't really our Manager anymore.
It looks like Syracuse scooped him up this past sim.

I'm with everyone else, if we can now override the Manager, then we should all go back to having to employ one.Washington Bats, 2013-
