    2019 Offseason SIM 0.5

    A new SIM is out. I checked with Brad and Z and SIM'd one week forward to 11/14/19.

    This is a test run before the league SIM's to 12/1 and Arb/Team Options/etc are locked in place.

    I was able to download all but 4 exports (Wil, Mor, Paw, Los Alamos). All trades have been processed. Toronto was switched back to GM mode. Garion has been added in at Wilmington.

    Please make sure you can download the new league file in game and export again. You are still free to change Arb, make extension offers, and process any Team Options if you haven't done so. If you already took care of everything you don't need to Export again unless you just want to make sure things are working correctly.

    Let us know if there are any issues. I kept the old file just in case.

    I'm halfway through my arbitration reviews. Is there some sort of planned time for when the next sim will be? A couple days? A week? I'm hoping to finish up my review of my team tonight, but life likes to get in the way of things.

      I sent you a PM. You'll have plenty of time! We are still waiting on several other owners. We won't SIM until you are ready so don't worry.

        Hey just a quick FYI the HAR-PIT deal was moved to completed but was not processed in game.

              Got my legendary ability scout. Hope he's worth overpaying for. Someone has to want Fajardo or Dunn...

                Yeah I really should've offered more than one. Offered him $200k more than he was asking for so I figured I was in the clear. LOL me.

                  Not sure why I didn't go higher with $60m in budget room.

                    With squid rebuilding and his extra $ I had to outbid him. Plus I hate tools scouts so there's no other option.

                      Well I didn't realize there would be a bidding war for a Scout but at least everyone has a little more time to snag one before FA1.

                      So no issues downloading in game and exporting?

                          Bulldogs were able to make two big front office signings.

                          1st we entice former Maine West trainer and gym teacher, Timmy Wilson to come to the big leagues. We are sure he's going to really miss coaching the girls swim and track field teams but some vices aren't worth passing on 2.5MM, guaranteed.

                          We are also very happy to have picked up 48 year old, former BLB'er and rockstar hitting coach for the 2019 BLB Championship Wildcats, Danny de la Garza. The Guatemalan native retired from the BLB in 2003 and found his way back into the BLB as a hitting coach in Syracuse in 2015. He then moved to the Wildcats in 2018, spearheading the development of one of the most impressive lineups the BLB has ever seen and winning the BLB championship earlier this year.

                          De La Garza will start his career with the Bulldogs organization in Annapolis as the hitting coach while learning from longtime Bulldogs' hitting coach, Mark Schell, who has hinted towards being tired and ready to move back to Texas for retirement soon.
