Yeah, I was lucky enough to have some good candidates so I just promoted from within and offered guys to fill spots at the minor league level.

Thanks Pat! I'm hoping the new Relationship tab is the ticket to success. I have moved a few of my coaches around to take advantage?? of this new setting... Maybe??

I really like that. It is pretty cool to see how the managers evaluate players using a mix of scouting and stats. My new Orlando (A) manager, Brock Saxton, is a 35 year old former Batavia prospect who just retired in 2018. I picked him for my Single A club because he plays people primarily based on performance.

But really, I mostly loved the fact that he doesn't give two craps about what you did two year ago.

            Not that I know of.

But I always love picking up former Denver players. Especially long time ones.

Sad that Rutledge has become a poor manager for my team. He had great ratings in old OOTP. Now he has a bad relationship with some important players. So I might have to move on from him soon.

Anyway to filter managers by their former playing career? Would love to see which ex-players from my organization are in the personnel pool now.

Denver will be calling the first free agent at 11:59 pm so it rings just as midnight strikes.

We have a lot of money to give minor league free agents. We are selling it to the fans as a Turn Back the Clock offseason.

This time, the year is 2001. Imagine if you will, the talent on that roster and now, welcome to the stage this wonderful 24 year old that couldn't hack it in AA. He's our bright new star!

I wonder how these free agents will play out on '17. Last year I remember going back and forth with Watts. With all the available bodies this year, I wonder if some sign quicker because of the increase supply in the market.

Also is the better International FA's part of '17 or is this a one time thing?

I think it's just luck. I don't remember a great international market in 17 when I switched in other leagues.

I do remember one immediately switching to 16. But I don't think it was like that for the BLB.
