3-3 sim and I lost the rubber match against Indy due to my bullpen blowing up - again.
Up 3-1 going into the 8th and my relievers give up 5 runs in two innings.
Almarez, Luna and Rodriguez give up 5 runs in an inning of work. Great job assholes.

Wes "Where's My" Johnson pinch-hits in the 8th and goes deep on Luna for a 3-run jack. I hope he gets chlamydia of the anus.

1 game out of a spot, with 2 games in hand over Toronto.
I need to get at least 5 wins next week against KC and LA.
      And would somebody wake-up Flores!

The more I play this game, the more I realize I'll never know what I'm doing.

Heck of a time for a 10 game losing streak. Wildcard here we come.

Slight chance our final series of the season will mean something. Never would of thought that a few months ago.

            I think you're right.
I'm most likely going to be on the outside looking in thanks to a couple of Clowns ganging up on me. ;)

I wish Ryan were still running Indy. At least when he bent me over he wooed me first. He also had soft hands.

After the first week of sepetemer, I stopped using 7 day lineups and handed the team over to my manager Jerry Russell. Since then we've gone 10-2 and have been getting production from everyone in key spots.

Aside from going 5-1 this week, we locked up Ace Jarrod Syversten to a pretty reasonable deal, and I know I listed him on the trade block earlier but I actually think I'm gonna keep him around. He's been climbing up the leader boards for our franchise in a lot of different categories, and his 4.5 WAR is tied with minor league free agent signing Tom Driggs for 5th in the DL. He's even snuck onto the top 20 pitchers list at number 20. He and Zhang will be the horses I lean on in a playoff series, now I just need Bynum, Pryor or Hall to step up.

We've clinched another over .500 season and barring a collapse we should be making the playoffs which is really all I can hope for.

Carry us Jamie O'Hearn. You're having the best "3rd or 4th place finish in the MVP voting" ever, and we're gonna need you to be bonkers the rest of the way. So far, you seem up to the task. The slash line of .353/.405/.706/1.111 in the games most important month is music to my ears (eyes?) let's keep it going.

Clinched another consecutive Divisional Tittle this week. Time to reduce the pitch counts the last 12 games, with a reasonible 10 games lead over Wilmington it's matter to start the play-offs as healthy as possible.

Huge concern about our Closer position for the play-offs... Flores, Rivera and Cohen will fight for it... Cohen has the inside track at this moment...

Great week for us, but it was a bit costly as we lose starting SS Wilkinson for the rest of the season. We'll be using a platoon of AJ Bonfield and rookie Ian Tendick (there's a nickname in there somewhere just can't quite come to grips with it) which is less than optimal, but next man up.

Dave Hurwitz comes back from a lengthy DL stint and goes 7 innings of 2-hit,shutout ball (on a pitch count) to pick up his first W of the year. Hope to see him complete the bounceback after a lost season.

I have never had a #1 prospect, before, until Dave Webber, who just made his BLB debut with a .950 OPS in 20 ABs. I have also never had the #1 pick before, although I have tried to trade for it many times, and barring Webber carrying us down the stretch to a blistering .500 record, I may have it in 2020.

I've picked #2 before, and drafted C Ruben Luna. I've had #2 prospects before, names like Raul Zamora and Justin Chewning (oof). And I've finished #2 before, losing in 2006 to Pat in the championship (I was a IL game 7 away from facing the nearly defunct, Jody Richards led Virginia Colonials. What could have been).
