This team is completely different week to week. Five games out to start the week with a brutal home stand against Wilmington and Maine, and the boys roll off a five game winning streak to get to 72-70 before losing the finale against Maine.

The offence finally clicked (46 runs in 6 games) like I've been hoping for awhile. Two big games against Toronto at home before embarking on a long 10 game road trip against Wilmington, Pawtucket, and New Orleans. If we can somehow survive that stretch, we finish with seven games at home to close out the season.

Pawtucket 6-1. Past Harford last week this week New Orleans. 2 games off the final Wildcard spot. Team hasn't given up just yet.

Dallas is a play-off team after a dominant week. Swept 3-0 Maine our Nemesis.

However another year we lost our CL for the play-offs. Huge blow for our BLB Crown aspirations.

The DL Wild Card race is great.

The Pilots played the youngsters and went 3-4, our best sim in weeks. Highlights being 1B Dylan Anthony going deep in four games and SP Dave Lynch striking out 10 while playing spoiler against DVS.

Can we just sim to the playoffs?

I'm happy for Dylan. He's the player I thought he'd be.

Five straight losses opens the door in the Stout. I figured we'd cool off a bit, but that's not good.

Biggest sim of the year coming up, 3 vs Philly and 3 at Batavia. We need a good week.

California would gladly accept being tied for the last wild card spot. We gained four games in a week. We've been all over the standings the last month. Anybody out of the five teams can take the last spot. Should make for an exciting last week.

Swept Toronto, then got swept by Wilmington. Looks pretty good for me playoffs wise, but the Morgantown series next sim scares me.

Much much needed 5-1 sim gets us trending back the right way. Looks a lot like the back end of our pen the rest of the way will be Joey Marohnic in the 7th, Ron Kleinman in the 8th, and 2019 DL All Star Wilson Mercado shutting the door. Mercado has been far and away our best arm this year.

He's appeared in 79 games, owns a 1.83 era spanning 93.2 innings and has walked 14 while striking out 81. He's never going to be a big K guy, but he's been exceptional this season.

I can't quite figure out why, but it seems like when Dave Zimmer has been in the lineup we've fared much better than when he's absent. The 23 year old has been average to below average offensively, but he brings so much in terms of + defense, a stolen base threat, and even a threat to go for extra bases. I might have rushed him from AA but he's been a key piece to our team, and I'm
Hoping he's the answer to our left field question for a long time.
