He's appeared in 79 games, owns a 1.83 era spanning 93.2 innings and has walked 14 while striking out 81. He's never going to be a big K guy, but he's been exceptional this season.

I can't quite figure out why, but it seems like when Dave Zimmer has been in the lineup we've fared much better than when he's absent. The 23 year old has been average to below average offensively, but he brings so much in terms of + defense, a stolen base threat, and even a threat to go for extra bases. I might have rushed him from AA but he's been a key piece to our team, and I'm
Hoping he's the answer to our left field question for a long time.
Mercado was a prospect in Dallas.

Millers shinning in Dallas and Sharks shinning in Pittsburgh. Why don't we trade anymore buddy?

Terrible 2-5 sim, including losing both to DVS. Our pitching simply didn't have their stuff this week. I'm hoping that going back home turns the tides for us. We really need to win these next two against DVS to keep hopes of a division title alive. 13 of our next 16 games are at home, so that should help.

1-6 as we help ourselves with a better pick for the off-season.

In other news, Dave Dillard continues to pummel opposing pitchers even with two strikes on the count. He leads the league in OPS with two strikes at .940. He also has a 1.296 OPS, 7 HR, 24 BB through just 103 PA in the BLB.

Did I mention he was on the block?

I think you're in a good spot regardless of how our series plays out.
But I'm pretty much done unless I get at least 2 wins from you, I think we're done.
