Shark you took over a team that was bad and you knew little to nothing about baseball. This year you lead the league in wins, you're ranked #1, and you got this in your park. You don't have to answer to anyone.

Well not a great last couple of sims for me. Need to get Victor Romero back from the DL stat. Gonna adjust my rotation a bit for September- would love to make the playoffs this season!

Truth. I've been so impressed with how hard Shark has worked to learn baseball and how successful he's been.

3-3 and it is time to shut everyone down for the season and let some of the young players show what they can do. That means Gosser, Farrow, Katz, Nichol and even Roberson will see significantly reduced playing time in September.

Gosser will be moving to 5 games a week or less for the rest of the regular season. I'm sure the kid wants to push for the triple crown, but we'd rather have him save some of that special play for next year.

This means that 23 year old first baseman, Dave Dillard will see more time to audition for a starting spot somewhere in the league. Dillard has been nothing short of amazing from off the bench, with an OPS of 1.307 in 90 games of BLB play. If he doesn't get traded, we will keep him as a more than capable backup to keep Gosser healthy.

Also, 22 year old rookie, D.J. Smitson, has also been called up and will likely see a few at-bats at first base in September. Smitson was drafted in the 5th round of the 2017 draft and after amazing 2019 performances in Camden (AA) and Annapolis (AAA. The young Californian native looks ready to make a challenge to Dillard's position as Gosser's backup.

We've also moved to a 6-man rotation to save a few innings on our youngish arms and inserted former Bulldog prospect, Ed Johnstone as our 6th starter. The former Bulldogs' 3rd round selection probably needs a bit of time to adjust to playing in Baltimore, but we'd hopefully like to see him get a start or two to see if he's going to make the rotation as a replacement for Vega in 2020 or moved permanently to the bullpen.

I'm not saying that we are tanking, but winning games is no longer the highest priority going forward as we look to the future of this franchise.

Ugh! 0.527 winning percentage for our opponents the rest of the way, the toughest of the teams bunched up for the last wild card spot.

The good news, our odds of making the wild card went from 2% to 4% after the last sim... Giddy up!

I think its all a scam. Like teaching the Japanese how to build cars in the 70's.

Lol, no seriously what impresses me the most is the players he trades and the value he gets. To me he's almost in that don't feed the beast category. Also does a decent job come draft time.

$$$$ Dallas looks safe thru 2020. After that is gets a little interesting for him.

California is in the middle of testing the theory now. Of course hitting the right draft timing (or at least picking wisely) helps.
