4-3 week for the Bats, all on the road. We split 4 in Carolina before taking 2/3 from Batavia. 2 games up in the Stout, which I guess is the goal now.

Dave Schneider won IL Player of the Week, going 10/20 at the plate. He continues to surprise me. I thought he'd be pretty good, but he's 2nd in the IL in WAR right now. Let's all hope he keeps it up.

      Thanks Z!

Well, that could have gone better. Effing Kodiaks can share my bag of dicks to munch on.

Diego Garza just ain't cuttin it at 3B. If his hitting wasn't bad enough, his glove has been equally retched.
He was a +7.1 last year, but is -0.6 this season. Odd. He must be related to Ontiveros who goes from suck to good every other year.

I've finally decided to send Garza down in place of Zach Maxwell.
He's not hitting very well in AAA, but he has better ratings, a better glove and hey, if he can hit over .110, then he'll be better than Garza.
I'm going to try our AAA 1B, Josh Ward at 3B this sim. He has nice hands (very loving too) and is killing AAA pitching right now.
If he can learn the hot corner, maybe he'll be a shortterm answer.

Another interesting thing I saw this week is that my top prospect, Edgar de Alba is not happy with his AA manager - who is described as controlling.
He's been pitching really well the last two months and my scout feels he's ready for AAA. So I called him up and will see how he does at a higher level.

Tom Michie loves Dallas... A shutout game against Indy was the most remarcable Win of the Week. 70-42 Record with 2 Games above Wilmington for the #1 DL Seed and 12 Games ahead of Morgantown and we are fighting for another consecutive division tittle for the Sharks.

Of course we will loss the Division series again in the Play-offs but things are looking good in Dallas with just 60 more games to play.

We had a decent sim, going 4-2 while the two teams ahead of us went 3-3 and 2-4. Slowly but surely chipping away.

The real good news was when I noticed that we're done with games against Batavia, Washington, and New York for the year. That means that everybody we have left to play we've gone .500 or better against this year. I think we're primed to make a run at this. It seems that the fans agree, with attendance being up 34% over last year. Current predictions have us getting a $12 mil budget increase for next year. Life is good in the Chi right about now.

Seattle has the toughest remaining schedule in the IL at .521 and six more away games than home.

We will be lucky to finish the year at .500...

2-5, bleh. Still only 1/2 game back, but I have Dallas coming up again next week and a Maine/Wilmington back to back coming in September. I'm scared.

The wildcard odds have always seemed messed up to me, almost like it thinks we have 3 wildcard spots instead of 4.
