I know. I didn't see any either.
Just trying to clear any potential confusion.

Thank goodness for a weak division because despite being 3 games under .500, we're only 2 games back of a wildcard spot.

I'm torn on this sim. We had a great one in Windy City, going 7-0. Our pitching is starting to settle in, with no more than 3 runs given up in any game and 2 shutouts this week. I'm seeing a lot of 2-1, 1-0, 2-0 type games, which makes me happy as that's the type of team I've been trying to build. Hopefully we can keep the scores down and have just enough pop in our lineup to win those pitching battles.
On the flipside, I'm pretty bummed about the Dunham injury. I was really enjoying how tight the IL races have been. Both divisions have 4 teams within 2.5 games. It sucks to have Seattle lose their ace in the middle of this. On the other hand, I had counted Pat out last year and he turned around and won the division. I'm not going to make that mistake again.
Closer to home, Talley has really taken off in the WC rotation. When we traded for him I was really hoping that he'd be able to thrive in a friendlier ballpark and without having to carry the load of being the team's ace. He's a hard worker, but not a leader at all. In his first three starts for us he's pitched 24 innings and only allowed 4 runs, 3 earned. His HRs and BBs are way down and his Ks are way up. I'm really happy with our rotation at this point. I think the combination of Teel, Kopp, and Talley can compete with anybody in the league.

It's our road record that's worrying the most this year. We did alright on the road last year, but for some reason just haven't been able to win away from home this year. My guess is that you whoop on us this sim and then we return the favor in a couple sims when you come to Chicago. I'll definitely be interested to see how Slack and Anthony do this series.
If we can keep the scores down we'll be OK. If you can get to our starters in the early games we're going to struggle. It's hard to believe that this is our first series against each other this year. We're going to be seeing a lot of each other from here on out.

Even after the Dunham injury and the fire sale that is upon us, I think the Pilots will remain a competitive team. My owner wants a winning record and everyone I'm trading away has a solid replacement waiting in Triple-A for the spot. I don't think winning the division was possible with or without Dunham, but we will try to the end to sneak in as the #6 seed.
Or at least play spoiler down the stretch.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
