They aren't happy. They liked knowing that Hector was out there somewhere, waiting by a phone for the call telling him that he was invited to join us on our next road trip. Our fans also really felt good waking up in the morning knowing that Hector wouldn't be wearing a baseball uniform today. The idea that he's now receiving the respect he deserves really sticks in their craws. Who the hell does that guy think he is, accepting a spot on an active roster? The nerve.

I'm going to send flowers to your clubhouse every time he hits a homer.

They don't get much national acclaim but the hitters in the Reading Royals (A) lineup have created a terrifying offense team. Taylor, York, Cook, Girard, Dilavou look like future big leaguers specifically. Joey York has maintained about a .350 clip since figuring it out last July...the kid mashes and he's still a teenager. Taylor was acquired from Philly in the Kemp deal, has taken to SS well and absolutely rakes at the top of the lineup. I think these guys are due for a few ratings bumps and if they do, they'll jump up the prospect list shortly.

Millers....playing fine. As long as we stay above .500 for a while when we go on our usual second have tear we should be all set. It's a shame I don't care about defense because Zhang is really in need of a nice defense behind him, his traditional numbers blow but once he matches his era to his fip he'll be a nice pitcher.

Mike, I'm happy to see old friend Rory Klingberg pitching so well out of your pen.

I bet those cutters he throws to lefties are something to behold.

I mean, good god — lefties are 2 for 21 against him. That's crazy. Between those cutters, changeups, and forkballs, left-handed batters don't stand a chance against him.

Not many young right-handers like him out there.

Might do them good. I really don't have any explanation as to why they're doing so poorly. Was hoping Cardona would be my Chris Davis.

Glad to see Hector getting a shot at hitting his 500th homer.
Just 3 seasons ago, it was a shoe-in and he looked like he was going to become the all time HR leader.. It's amazing how hard he hit that wall.
I hope he does well in Maine.
I was actually thinking of trying to make a deal to bring him back somehow.

I've managed to win back-to-back sims (8-4). No idea how.
Parham is the only guy pitching worth a crap.
Almarez, despite losing a rating point every week, is still pitching well.
And Ledbetter continues to pound the ball.

This next sim is going to be brutal though; Pittsburgh and then New Orleans.
The Dukes (Duck I says), are under .500, but are still a dangerous club.
And the Millers are always strong. Especially when they have Baldwin set to pitch in the third game of the set.
I may have to exact extreme measures to make sure he doesn't beat me.

                Feliciano got traded?

Waiting for the inevitable, "your fan interest nearly sunk!" email thanks to the fans who didn't know he hasn't been in Denver for a year.

On a side note: anyone want what's about to become the most expensive lefty specialist in the game?

                  I hate injuries.

Owens win DL POM and Gosser wins IL POM.

                    Reppin that 2-0-1-4.

You know who else would have the best record in the league and give their ageless vets top billing in a SIM title...

Clay wouldn't have three outfielders on the disabled list.

So in the CCBL apparently we have Dave Swilley, a starting pitcher, who won both Outstanding Hittter and Pitcher this year(a bug).

Not sure if that can be edited.
