      Lol....YIKES!!

Get your GM of the year vote in now!!! Think I've shown enough to warrant all the votes.

Didn't "pre-sim" the trade for our power 1B so HAL decided to put in slap hitting Richardson in the clean-up slot. Left about 500 runners on base, nice. The pitchers didnt pitch either. Its a mess.

15-29.......ok lets see if we can dig our way out of this crap. Its been a longtime since its been a challenge. Just wished I'd stop making mistake after mistake. I was better off having Z make my lineup (Only winning SIM this season)

We are in our typical May-June swoon in Washington. Hopefully we pull out of it soon.

Had a nice week at 4-2. Swept Carolina and went 1-2 against Baltimore. Not sure how my manager ended up putting Mintz in LF but it apparently worked out. Wonder if I screwed that up or he had an independent streak.

            Somehow managed a 4-2 sim.
Morgantown is actually 10-9 since shipping out two important players.
Waigand's bat is crashing back to earth, but his defense is still pretty good.
If he can hit .250 for me the rest of the year, while playing well defensively, I'll be happy.
When I drafted him, it was to be as a full-time utility player. That's still the idea, but he's been forced into a bigger role now that Jaime is gone.
In Martinsburg, Josh Ward continues his assault on AAA pitching.
He's killing the ball right now and if he played any other position other than 1B, he'd be up with the big club by now.
I noticed that his IF ratings are pretty good and he was a SS in High School.
I'm going to try him out at that position this next sim. I doubt he'll be a good SS at the BLB level (or even AAA), but if he can be competent, he may be called-up sooner than later.

A big surprise for me this season has been reliever Garret Kelly.
He wasn't anything special in HS or College. And even early in his pro career he wasn't doing anything to turn heads.
Due to lack of depth on my AA squad, I started him with the Dollar Bills, where he posted a 0.87 ERA over 10.1 innings.
I had some injuries in Martinsburg, so I moved him up again.
He's been dominant so far with a 0.69 ERA in 12 innings and has earned 10 saves. He is now the Badgers fulltime Closer.
Not sure if he'll ever be a decent BLBer, but who knows.
Now that I'm fully rebuilding, it's fun to watch some of the guys in the minor's move up and down the ladder.

Another 2-4 sim. We are just in a full slump, even getting swept by Baltimore. After finishing April at .500 I was hoping we were ready to turn it on. Looks like our late start just came a month late this year. Nobody can hit the ball and my bullpen is pitching terribly after starting the season really strong.

On the plus side, Teel had a monster game against Philly. He pitched 6.2 innings of shutout ball and hit a two out HR to lead us to a 1-0 victory. The guy is a monster.

Is playing 17 games straight supposed to happen in the scheduling?

I'm hoping it's the same in Denver.

It's not abnormal. Every team has at least one stretch that long, I think, with the maximum length capping at 20 or 21.

We play without an off day from August 16 through September 4, for example. A 20 game stretch.

Another 3-3 week. Another week finishing with Denver sitting a half game up. We've done nothing to increase the lead which is disappointing but I'm also happy to see us leading the division for now.

We also lost Pitchford who was pitching very well. We have him under control for next year but with a UCL tear, he's probably going to end up rehabbing all of next season as well. I think I'll take the chance he returns to form and keep him on the roster; even pay him again in 2021 to see if he can work some magic in the BLB once he's healthy.

Would be really nice if Collazo joins us this season.

Honestly in shock that we're only a game out of the wild card race. Going to call up Maurer in hopes that he boosts the rotation, but I'm afraid my offense is what it is at this point.

5-1 week and we've won 8 of our last 9 to give a glimmer of hope going forward.

-DJ Gosser won his 4th POW of his young career and is now hitting .345 on the season while leading the IL in OPS. He's only 25, getting more timely hits, and looking more and more dangerous. He doesn't have the sexy bars like Dylan or FF but, make no mistake he's damn good.

-JJ Hanson has officially been named the starting catcher going forward, unseating veteran Todd Robideau. Robideau, to his credit, hasn't made much of a fuss about it and seems content to help guide and mentor the budding 23 year old star.

-Picked up 28 year old infielder, River Shiffman off waivers from Pitt last week and he responded by hitting .400 for the week as our starting shortstop. He's a bit greedy but a good team leader and seems to play well between Jarod Farrow hitting at #2 and DJ Gosser hitting at #4. Also, his addition has allowed us to move DJ LaRossa to the #5 spot and gives Gosser some protection when pitchers try to get aggressive with him.

-Talley throws a 1-hit, shutout this week. I'm glad to see this from our #1 guy. I'm still worried because he relies on power pitching so much. Hopefully it is just that he's finally got the cobwebs swept out and and will dominate going forward.

-Our outfield is looking pretty banged up of late. First William Diaz, then Malik Roberson and now "Rocket" Dicks is injured. Shamar Bryant did well in their absence and has earned playing time over whoever gets called up from AAA to take Dicks' spot on the roster.
