          4-2 sim: 2-1 @ Carolina and 2-1 @ Batavia (including a 14 and a 21 inning game!)

We continue to win games with pitching (3rd in the IL in ERA) and defense (3rd in the IL in defensive efficiency). However, if we don't find a way to score more runs (12th) we will probably dip below .500 again.

OF Ethan Stuart hurt his rotator cuff and will miss three weeks. Ironically, as little Stuart has played for me due to injuries, I think both Seattle and Syracuse "lost" that headline trade. OF Dusty Toupin has produced a -.4 WAR over that span, 3B Rogelio Padilla put up an out of nowhere 4.4 WAR in 2018 but is now hitting under .200, and P Tony Osorio might have had the most rapid decline of any non injured/Clay manipulated player I have ever seen. At the time of the trade my scout had him 5-6-7 and thought he was a Top of the Rotation type. Obviously, he was wrong but he now has him 3-5-5! He's making $8M this year and $8M in 2020. He's only 30!

2-3 for the Brawlers this week. Took both games with Washington but than turned around and got swept by Philadelphia. We just can't put a solid week together but guess I expected as much.

              Another losing week for Pawtucket.

I knew a 100 win season would be crazy, but still wanted to finish the decade without a losing season.

Ok, time to do some trading.

                  My guys age.

It's just that they age like George Clooney.

                    We needed a confidence builder.

After a hot start to the year, we're now 4-8 in the past 2 sims. It's come down almost exclusive to one run games, as we won 7 of our first 10 of those, and are 1-5 in the past two weeks. It's frustrating to see that Israel Rodriguez has already blown 4 saves this season. That matches his career high prior to this season, since being made our closer. I'm not really sure what's up with him and he'd better get it together soon. The rest of his numbers seem great, but that's not stopping him from giving up leads.
