4-3 gets us back atop the division.

Jimmy Lewis threw two starts and only surrendered one earned run. He's pretty damn good.

I don't expect to win another title but damn if we don't look even better than last year's club so far.

No Jimenez, no problem, 4-2 SIM dropping a 1 run game against Pittsburgh. Arsenault settled great as a Closer with 2 saves and Lujan threw a W in Hartford. The young players did well this week, hopefully it will get even better with more experience. New Sharks, Stewart and Petino combined with 7.1 scoreless innings, great start out of the dog-house for the 2 not-so-young Pitchers, I hope they will be a good stop-gap awaiting for Landrum and Gantt to develop enough to throw at the top level.

The locker room wasn´t happy with Jimenez leaving but they still feeling "Good" about Team Chemistry. Time to pick up and continue gaining ground in the Division, to allow us to rotate some guys out of position.

Jimmy Collins started to wave his bat finally and collected 7 hits in 13 ABs in the last 4 games, hopefully he will be leading off soon again.

Tough to see skolfied go down with that hammy for 6 weeks. He's a big part of our team but we should be alright. Keeping pace somewhat and playing decent baseball. We'll see how it goes

It's weird seeing funclown trot out a crappy $120 million team.

0.500 sim for the first time this year. We are bringing up two of our less heralded arms in Mullins (2.68 ERA) and Killian (2.60 ERA) as we try to sort out the woeful bottom of our rotation and continue the waiting pattern for the younger guys.

Perhaps we'll remain close enough to go for it and bring the boys up sooner, if not, there will be a pile of September calls in California to get ready for 2020.

bparks's main challenge will be keeping his group together for the long haul.
