Jimmy Lewis finally surrendered a run when he walked the first batter in the 8th and was immediately pulled.

The bullpen ended up allowing the runner to cross the plate.

Ethan Stuart took a ratings hit. The Pilots went 1-5 with four one-run losses. This team will be lucky to finish .500 by years end.

        I'm thankful for the draft.

5-1 makes a very good week for the Bats. Unfortunately, the Freedom managed to do better than us still. Annoying.

My lineup is surprising me as we continue to lead the IL in almost all hitting categories. We've hit 12 more HR than the next highest team in our league, I'm not really sure where all the power came from. This week, we were carried by Turnbow, but a lot of guys did well and Urmson looks like he may have realized we've started real games again. At SS, rookie Zack Davenport may be finding his footing.

So far, FA signees Jamie Roberts and Tom Smith have made me look smart.

I'm happy with the start we've gotten off to, so hopefully it all keeps up.

I'm afraid my team isn't going to be in it for the long haul if my offense continues like this. I was expecting Cardona to carry us, but he's been horrible.

We could barely hit pitch or field this sim. Very bad week.

I'm happy with a 4-2 sim. Our starting pitching is back to form after starting slow last month. Our bullpen has also gone back to their old ways of sucking. So that's a thing.

Aidan Johnson, who was our last good pitching prospect, tore his flexor tendon and will miss the rest of the year. That sucks. I don't know if this is something I could have prevented by not having him pitch as many innings or what. I'm constantly double guessing how I ramp up young pitchers. Until this year I hadn't had any major injuries, but now Gray goes down with a torn flexor and Johnson does the same a couple months later. Is it bad luck or pushing young arms too hard? Hopefully it's the former, otherwise I'm going to start seeing others go down in rapid succession.

For now, I'm going to focus on my BLB staff, where we are sitting in 1st place for the first time that I can remember. We've got a tough sim coming up against BAT, WAS, and NYK. Hopefully we can hold our own.

Why my Manager decided to pull Lofink after the 1st inning for Lujan in the second game against Syracuse?? I don't understand... Anyway 5-2 week with Jimenez saving 3 games is a great week!

                        It happens, Delandis.

Steve Suarez signed on for next year, which will be his 20th season in Maine.

Anyone know what the BLB record for years with a franchise is?

Gotta think Suarez is close to it, if he doesn't already have it.

Because Lofink was having back spasms and had to leave the game.

Another sim where we just scratch up against a winning week!

Resigned Collin Robbins for a very team friendly four years. I'm hoping he pitches to his potential to help support the young guns over the next few years.
