6-0 isn't bad for realizing all of your starting pitchers were on their Spring Training 75 Max pitch count.

      Thanks bullpen?

Todd Taylor has a rocky start to the year, and the middle of our bullpen blows. A 2-4 sim could have easily been 4-2 with a little better D. Damn slo pitch players on my roster, but they do like to hit.

Small world, man. When I ran Pittsburgh, I had one guy with the same name as one of my friends and another guy with the same name as one of my best friend's fathers. Now, I just realized that Travis Stroble's listed hometown is the next town over from mine. This game is a fucking stalker.

4-2 on the road in the first SIM of the year, when we are trying to figure the things out is always welcome.

Won the series against the Kodiaks and took two from Indy with Gault tying the all-time Sharks record with 2b hits in one game with 3. So far Gault's trade is paying off.

Old relievers Rivera and Jimenez had a difficult week, Rivera throw 2 rocks to the dirt that Gault had to corral and one of them costed us the game against the Kodiaks combined with the save blew by Jimenez. The old pales have the respect of the youngsters, now they have to play the expectations.

                    They still are.

The last three games were among the 47 games they were expected to lose.

This. No way we can continue to pitch 2.17 ERA for the week and go 2-4. And what the hell is up with us and gotdamn broken knee caps? [emoji35]

I think we still have our 2020 pick if this year goes south.

If we go 0-6 next sim, I'm experimenting with 75 pitch counts and relying heavily on my 10 man bullpen.

Seriously, we have a lot of bullpen arms. I've never had so many on my roster. And soon I'll need to find a spot for Gotschall, Benites and Spalding. It's a good time to be a BC.

2B Rory Gray is on pace for 81 HRs... and 108 RBI. Last year he hit 39 HR and only 82 RBI.

If we could ever get on base for this guy, he'd have a monster season.

I've considered trying things like this out in the minors. Even maybe a four-man rotation on 60 PC with a great bullpen.

In theory all teams should do this...

                                5 man rotation
                                32 starts x 100 pitches/start = 3200 pitches

                                4 man rotation
                                40 starts x 80 pitches/start = 3200 pitches

With the added bonus of no lousy fifth starter.
