    Next SIM: 2019 Free Agency 6 - Saturday 11/13

File, reports, and utility are updated.

    Stat of the Day!

    DFA: Baltimore, Indianapolis, Windy City
    Roster:
    Single A Age:

    Offseason Schedule

    11/15 Tues AM - Spring Training 1
    11/16 Wed AM - Spring Training 2

    Reminder

    14. CONTRACTS
    • If Team Option is used the Buyout must be the difference between Option year and highest Guaranteed year.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their third arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have three "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.

Seattle adds two more relievers in CL R.J. "Basher" Manning and MR Danny Salinas. Both are very high leadership as well as very high ground ball.

    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041

Made a late play for Scriber and finally got Briseno to agree to my terms. That should pretty much do it for me as far as acquisitions are concerned.

Well, that's a pleasant surprise. Didn't expect to get Reeves but jumped at the opportunity. Had money to spend- made sense to use it. Reeves in the rotation will be helpful. Now I can roll with a rotation of Osborn, Reeves, Daley, Ballard, Kauffman as five of my six starters. Not sure who the 6th will be right now. Portillo is most likely going back to the pen.

Glad I added Donovan to the rotation and Nelson behind the dish. That's about it for us this offseason. Now it's time for the prospects to perform.

Damn, just saw that Dave Johnson retired because nobody would offer him 5/$90.

Also the end of the road for former All-Stars like Tyler Garner, Billy Alvarado, Jamie Cook, and Playboy great and Jistic hero J.J. Caplan.

Happy with the Tod Taylor signing. We are introducing a lot of young starters this year. He will hopefully take a lot of pressure off of Robbins and the young guys.

You should be. Taylor will be a great leader for your rotation. And you paid a cool price to get him.

I offered the same amount for him to come home, but he decided to head to the best coast.

We did a lot of swinging and missing this off season. We did grab Todd Robideau on a cheap contract to give us some leadership behind the dish and hopefully take the pressure off JJ Hanson, who is projected to be our full time catcher of the future. He (Robideau) had a tough year in 2018, but we are hoping he's still got something in the tank.

That's the hope. We can't roll with all young guys.

Strange, we declined his option for 18 mill just for giggles asked what he wanted and he was asking for 6 years 24 million.

So either a massive drop off is coming or he's just retarded.

He will be missed, but knew it was time to shed some salary.

Predictions say we should be in the hunt for the wilcard race. Not a horrible way to end the decade.
