Congrats to Brad and the Freedom who beat us in the 10th inning of Game 3, 1-0. Sadly, that's exactly how I predicted the series would go in the Who Ya Got thread:

"This is probably the most even matchup of any of the Wild Card games and I think it will come down to the late in Game 3...probably with Seattle's IL 8th ranked bullpen losing it. Possibly in extra innings. Philadelphia in three."

We had our chances in game three: 26 LOB to 7 LOB, 8 H to 6 H, 4 BB to 1 BB. Four separate ABs we had runners on 2nd and 3rd and couldn't capitalize. No surprise we get shutout in a game we fail to go deep.

Gahhh a couple extra inning losses to end the season for the Dukes, so fitting. Offensive struggles carried over from the last month of the season and pen couldn't hold them.

Congrats to Wilmington on the series win, bring it home brotha!

I don't think so. For some reason, OOTP never added a playoff report.

You have to snoop through each team's schedule, or use the scores day-by-day.

I'm not sure why my pitching was screwed up. Starters should have been Teel, Aguilar, and Kopp. Instead I got Teel, Kopp, and Gray. Not an excuse, just something I have to figure out so that I don't get surprised again.

I'm guessing it has to do with your 7-day lineups.

You're absolutely right. I used 7-day lineups to rest my players last sim and never turned them back off. Oh well, lesson learned. Like I said, I don't really think it would have changed the outcome. I'm very happy with how our season has played out.

Keep your head held high. We have all made mistakes with roster flubs.

Sorry to see you didn't get the rotation you were hoping for Scortch. It was a great series we had, all 3 games could have gone either way. I was really nervous after we lost game 1, and we trailed in game 2 as well before finding a way.

Looking at the stats, I haven't done well against Los Alamos this year. Hopefully we'll turn that round here in the playoffs.
