I'm sorry guys. I'm out of town and today is my daughter's birthday.

I'll try to get it in late tonight but you may have to go without my vote this year.

Got a quick vote in tonight.

Late Pimp: Fred Evers for IL Last Call.

He lead ALL relievers in FIP and WAR. If we had a decent defense, he would have been insane with the conventional stats this year again. He didn't have the saves this year, but what Shoeless does in a LHB friendly park is nothing short of awesome.

It kind of didn't really get any traction.

So, Pat Evans appears poised to win his 2nd consecutive IL Pale Ale award. He's going to pitch next season at age 33. It's amazing how quickly time flies. He's definitely lived up to expectations when we popped him at 1.3 in the 2007 draft (D.Piekarski 1st and current Freedom member CJ Wilkinson 2nd that year).

He's led us to 2 IL Pennants during his run (2010,2017), but we've never been able to punch that final ticket. We're hoping he has another 5+ good years in him (he better, since he's owed $105m over that time).

                                I've always liked "watching" him.

Win or lose he's one of the very best pitchers in league history.
