You could do some serious damage in a short playoff series, especially if you can throw Teel, Aguilar, and Kopp.
Kopp in particular is terrifying right now. Here are his September numbers, for people not paying attention:
5 starts
33 2/3 IP
32 strikeouts
2 walks
2 HR
1.60 ERA
Teel had a 1.89 ERA in September with 48 strikeouts in 38 innings.
Aguilar was the worst of the three, with a bloated September ERA of ... yikes, 1.95.
Good luck against that.Maine Guides

Ooooh...envy looks good on you. Try this one on for size: While you're sitting home watching the Blues in the playoffs you'll be getting a letter from the league letting you know how much your check to us should be made out for. That's right, baby. In the playoffs and still taking your money. Damn it feels good to be a gangster.Death Valley Scorpions (2003-Present)

As expected Jed Davis is outplaying D.J. Jones defending the deep ball, he will get the 5th OF / Defensive replacement Nod next year and Jones Arbitration option will be declined.
Davis can't hit either but at least has an outsanding range, with notable Hand-Eye coordination and Arm Strength and will be cheaper than Jones.
I am disappointed I didn't get nothing from Jones and he will walk for nothing after being acquired from Pawtucket for a 3rd Round pick, but this things happen.
Jones helped to close out play off games during our last year's run which finished for the 1st BLB ring for the Sharks. He will be remembered as one of the first lessons learnt from one of the best BLB Managers out there, Jones is the definition of Role Player, and I wish him nothing but the best going forward.

I only need New Orleans and Pittsburgh to get swept, and for Morgantown to sweep our last series for a shot at the postseason.

Winning record in September and beating up on Carolina. Looks like things are getting back to normal in Galtimore.
