      Thanks Z. It's great to have the BLB back, so thanks again to you and Andrew (and anyone else) who got us up and running again.

      As for the sim, I'm very happy with how my team is playing at the moment. I didn't see this run coming at all, but we've been good since the trade deadline. We went 5-2 on the road this week, including a split at Batavia and winning a series at Philadelphia. Also threw in a 2-game sweep at Carolina for good measure.

      Hopefully we can keep it going.

        Pitchford did a decent job for us.

        But Denver keeps slipping. We might be helping our draft position. This is why I don't trade my firsts anymore. Can never trust what's going to happen even after a good start.

          Thanks to everyone behind the scenes.

          Seattle goes 5-2 to take a two game lead in the Bock and I can't explain what's going on with Pat Vonada.

            Glad to be back tu business, thanks commishes and everyone for the hard job.

            Dallas won 2-1 the series in Pittsburgh with D.J. Miller sending 2 over the fence, this guy is making himself a name and fighting for a Roster spot next year. First chance to start 2 Homers, nothing bad kid, nothing bad.

            The Sharks are very happy about the future ahead will all the young September call ups and backups playing really good baseball on the field and at the plate...

            3-0 against Indy to finish the week 5-1 and 8 1/2 games ahead of NO with 19 games to go.

            We have to stay focused and trust our young guys to relieve the core of players in order to have them fresh and ready for the play-offs.

            11-8 to finish the regular season and reach the 100 mark would be really nice. Not telling you how great would be reaching the #1 Seed of the DL...
            Miami Sharks (BLB)
            * BLB Champions --> 2017, 2020.

            Ohio River Sharks (OSFL)
            * OSFL Bowl CHAMPION > 2036, 2047.

              Our offensive malaise continues. The division is gone; now we'd just like to be the top WC, but we're certainly trending in the wrong direction.

                Windy City pulls within 3 games of the Bock lead, going 6-1 this sim. We have a pivotal series against Seattle coming up, followed by a series against Los Alamos the next sim. 13 of our remaining 19 games are at home, and I'm feeling good about our chances.

                With Los Alamos, Windy City, and New York all within 3 games of each other battling for the final 2 playoff spots this is getting very interesting. Throw in Seattle and you have 4 teams within 4 games of each other battling for 3 spots.

                Out of those 4 teams, Windy City has been the best since the All-Star break. I'm hoping that we can ride our momentum to a division crown, but I'd be ecstatic with a playoff berth of any kind.

                September ERAs for the top of my rotation: Teel - 1.50, Aguilar - 1.57, Boyd - 1.93. If these guys can keep up that intensity we'll be just fine.

                  You've had our number this season, winning eight of the 12 match-ups thus far, including five of the last six....and you are the hottest team in baseball.

                  I'm not optimistic.

                    We scored 3 runs in our series. 3.

                    Only in Denver can we post an incredible pitching week and go 2-5.

                    C'est la vie a Denver.

                          Updates from Maine:

                          * What a last six weeks! Wow. We're 22-4 in our last 26 games and climbed the standings into the second DL Wild Card spot, passing four competitors in the process.

                          * Starting pitching has been key. Dave Toste has pitched into the eighth inning in eight of his last ten starts. He's only failed to record a quality start in one start since late July. 24 year old Jimmy West threw a complete game shutout on Monday. William Eddy has a 2.45 ERA as a Guide. And Fernando Hernandez will break the all-time wins record with his next victory.

                          * Voodoo Davila started slow and had me worried, batting only .208 in April. But he's really come alive since then, especially in September in which he's hitting .385. With Owens and O'Hearn cooling off lately, Davila has put himself right back in Stout Slugger contention, as he has the league's top OPS and runs created per 27, and he trails O'Hearn by only 0.1 WAR now.

                          * What a pleasant surprise Jamie McInturf has been. Picked up off the scrap heap for $1.75 million after the season started, the 36 year old DH has a .396 OBP, a .884 OPS, and 12 more walks than strikeouts.

                          * Shoutout to Dave Sliney, this year's #15 overall pick, who skipped the minor leagues entirely and is finding his groove with a .351 September batting average.
