    Thanks, Z.

Took a little back and forth with him, but I feel pretty lucky to get him at that price. He's better than his ERA suggests, though he has struggled since we obtained him.

Wow, now that is a horrible sim. Now we're only 2 games over .500.

The youth movement is on- gonna call up Jimmy Norman from my dumpster fire AAA team. They just can't win and I want to get him out of that toxic enviornment ASAP.

9 games for an on field fight is fucking outrageous. (Vickers-Palmer)

        Can we appeal this?

I mean shit, Odor only served 7 games for his punching bats in the face.

        Is there any wiggle room?

I lost CF JR Lowe for 10 games for a fight earlier this season. Vickers got off easy.

Maybe you should have filed an official appeal.

I dont know if the Commish has any power when it comes to shortening suspensions but it is an interesting idea if we could appeal.

Technically our commish is actually George W Bush. He runs a tight ship around here.

We should call him George Z Bush.

4-3 sim. I'm not pumped about the fact that we lost another series to Los Alamos, but we got the job done against Death Valley so it's not all bad. Also, we're now in a tie for the last Wild Card slot, which is the first time since I've been in this league that Windy City has had to worry about playoff slots.

I wonder how "important" is the minor league system ranks...

At the moment I have the 25th out of 26th minor league system, however my A affiliate won the division and is the #2 play-off seed and my AAA affiliate finished second in the division and will play in the play-offs as well... To finish the AA affiliate finished 65-55, not a play-off bound but a positive record anyway...

The minor league system ranks are only based on players who are on the Top Prospect list #1-#100. It doesn't give points for prospects in the #101-#200 range nor does it award points for W-L records in the minors.

It's definitely a flawed system. Not only for the reasons mentioned above but it also gives way too many points to the top ranked prospects. I know at one point this season I had something like the #12 or #13 ranked farm system with only one prospect, SP Tom King, making the Top 100 at #2. That alone was worth something like 50 or 60 points. Sure, his a really great prospect but there's no way I would think that having just one prospect should make the team nearly a Top 10 system.

So to answer your curiosity, it's not important at all.

Thatīs what I thought, I think this part of the game should be developed to have a better idea of what we have in our hands when dealing with the minors.

But anyway, minors doesnīt give you anything either, apart from the satisfaction of winning something

I think the developers make it not so clear on purpose. We play in a scouting league. Some leagues, you just have 100% true ratings and rankings. Personally, I like it better this way.

Minor leagues do have some importance. A players morale can have an impact on development, so a prospect who plays on a poor minor league team might not develop as fast as a player on a good minor league team. Also if a player performs well they can make All-Star games which I think helps with popularity of a player. And, the more you win the more games you play, so more time to develop. But, that's not as many games anymore since we changed the playoff formats.

Agreed. I don't worry much about it because I've had lots of good players who never sniffed Top 100.

I even think the Org Top 20 list is often misleading.

There are many different pieces to accurate evaluation of players/prospects in OOTP.
