This team was built with a two year window in mind. We were lucky to win the Bock last year and will be lucky if we can hang onto a Wild Card spot this year. In the off-season, it's going to be interesting.

      SP Vega - $12M PO
      OF Haraguchi - $18M TO
      OF Oldham - $5.5M TO
      RP Self - $1.8M TO
      3B Henne - FA
      CL Scriber - FA
      CF Lowe - FA
      SP Stidham - FA
      3B Vonada - FA
      RP Ocampo - FA
      OF Mojica - FA
      RP Poole - FA

And that's not even including the $280K AAAA types or the players headed to arbitration that might be set free.

I've never had a roster turnover like this in my OOTP/BLB history. Should be fun. Might be depressing.

Looks like these Pilots are coming in for a crash landing this offseason!

None taken. It's only two second round picks. Not a boatload.

It got me my closer and new starting second baseman. Two things I needed. Sometimes just gotta weigh the benefits vs negatives.

Right now a direct competitor is attempting to rebuild. I need to take advantage of it.

Regarding this but not correlated to your post, I think I did a good job of keeping my future safe (still have a top system with a few promising prospects) and several above average ones currently on the team. The players I added are young, mostly affordable, and fill holes.

I'm confident this version of Denver has been handled much better than ones in the past.

We are down to one engine and the pilot just jumped out the emergency hatch.

3-3 sim, still staying alive in the division race. Still feel that Batavia will take the division this year. I'l be thrilled if we can make the playoffs. I'm calling up another rookie to join the squad- Erik Bergmann who has been a solid hitter will replace the injured Gabriel Vachon. Alejandro Portillo has had a 50/50 start to his starting career- one bad start and one excellent one to date.

Definitely will be following "Snake Hips."

I think he will do well, in time.

I tried to trade up 3 times to get him. I almost got into round 1 but the price shot up too high.

Funny story with Portillo...I would have taken Marques Edwards had he been available and had targeted him with my 2nd round pick for a while. Hartford took him which left me real disappointed so I "settled" on Snake Hips.
