We aren't very good right now. I keep expecting us to snap out of our funk and have a good week, but it's not happening.

Luckily, it looks like everyone in the Stout is in the same boat, so we're still only 2.5 games back from first.

Still, I should probably take some offers on my vets.

Just a truly amazing week in Wilmington. We started with an amazing sell out crowd for the All Star game. The atmosphere was unreal. Topped off by a 5-0 DL win, and the home team being represented by SEVEN all stars, let's just say the city of Wilmington, as well as the entire Wildcats organization was very proud.

Let me just say whoever decides the scheduling at the league office needs to have a talking to. The ball park operations people, as well as clubhouse staffs, were not happy with having just ONE DAY to get the stadium back in shape for a 4 game series against California. That being said the team used their break wisely because they came back ready to play. 4 game sweep of the Kodiaks puts us back in a tie for first of the Ale.

A lot of baseball left boys.

Hot Fire is also appropriate because he has that flame icon next to his name an awful lot.

Spear he's got to be named Supa Hot Fire.

And if you don't use it....it is reserved for the next big Baltimore star.

The good: We are on top of the Lager again.

The ugly: 1B Danny Gomez is a shadow of what he did the last year and we are likely to get a below replacement stats from him when he is in his last year worth it $20M...

The bad: We lost SS Ian Moore for 4 weeks with a fractured Wrist, at least Dowling did very well when replacing him and we can call-up Barnard or Boxwell to start taking BLB reps.
