I'm not sure anyone in the IL can stop them this year. I certainly can't.Washington Bats, 2013-

2-4, including a sweep by Windy City and two one-run losses.
Performance of the week goes to P Jamie Coffman who threw 6.1 scoreless innings of relief in the 4-3 over Los Alamos in 15 innings. Not sure I've ever seen a performance like that before.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

We had a 4-2 sim this week, which we're happy about. Jimmy Gray had a great week, which is nice to see when you trade for a guy. Jimmy Cook didn't fair as well in his one start in Indie, which sucks. I have no doubt he'll turn it around.
We have Denver and Baltimore this sim. I'm really hoping that we can build off of the success of this last sim and make some ground up in the Wild Card race. We're only 3 games out of it, and if this revamped outfield works out like I'm hoping I think we can compete for one of those slots. I'm not saying we're going to compete in the playoffs, but it'd be nice to at least get there once.

3-3, made it through a tough month of June with a strong record and we continue to trend upward. Jamie O'Hearn wins dl hitter of the month after his outrageous batting line in the month of June. (.409/.469/.739/1.208 with 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and 26 runs scored.) on the year he's on pace to be a 9+ win player with his offense combined with superb defense in center field. Should be good for a 4th place finishing in the MVP voting.
We'll continue to ride him in the middle of the order as the young guys around him continue to grow. Outside of the Millers roster, my favorite team in the organization has to be our single A team. Can't wait for Malik Clark to get healthy to see how Conlee, Eaton, Barney and Clark do next season, as Cook, York, Girard, Gordon, Taylor, Peak, and Stephan grow as hitters.
