HUUGGGEEEE sim for the Wildcats. 6-0 week. Pulled into 1st in the extremely talented Ale division. Eric Surmeier is currently in the middle of a 25 game hit streak. The rotation is starting to hit its stride. I don't know how many hail marys I have to say to keep this team rolling, but if you need me, I'll be stuffing money into the prayer box.

Big sim for the Kodiaks. 8-2 in our last 10, and inching our way towards 0.500.

Slowly adding the youngsters to the mix. Just waiting for a few of the younger pitchers to develop and hopefully the Kodiaks are ready to turn the corner and contend as early as next year.

I really liked your team when I was looking around the league before the season. A lot of talent in Wilmington, it seemed a bounce back season was likely to me. Surmeier is just a beast already, only 21 too. I think you've got a good chance to stay in the race.

        ---

The Bats go 5-1 to kick off our Bock road trip. Took 2/3 in Death Valley and then swept the Bulls. Good for 2nd place in the Power Ratings, behind the Wilmington machine.

Feels like a pretty lucky week for my team. None of our games were decided by more than 2 runs, and we went to extra innings in 4 out of the 6 games. Just luckily the breaks seemed to go my way this week.

Jimmy Razza has been fantastic to start this year. CJ Turnbow has been very good in the two weeks he's been up in the BLB, hitting .370 so far. No major injuries this week. I'll take it.

For Godness shake.... Are we in the off-season yet?? Nightmare of a season so far... Another 3-3 SIM and we managed somehow to stay tied for the 4th WC seed... Pitching and defense are improving but we are leaving too many players on base... We need to tweak something offensively to start rolling...

Has this feeling your team just underperformed last season. You have way to many top players not to be in the thick of things.

Oh Pawtucket 2-5. Not our greatest road trip. What disturbs me the most was in the past 9 days we have been shut out FIVE times!!! WTF guys?? Hoping were just getting an early slump out of system cuz as a wise men said "if you dont score......"

Yep, this is feeling like a better version of two years ago. We haven't had an offense in a while. Afraid the pitching and defense won't be enough unless guys start producing.

Still, a .500 month is a good one for this franchise and I enjoy the progress. I didn't want to get caught up on the early success by doing anything rash. Slow and steady for this club. We have too many young players to look forward to.

Went 2-4 but we are getting closer. Lost 3 games in the 9th or 10th and all our losses were by 1 or 2 runs except for a 3-0 shut out for the last game of the week. Going to be a long season but we are seeing some of our youngsters starting to play better.

5-1 sim for us as we take 2/3 from Denver BC and sweep Davenport.

I don't think my starters have really settled in just yet either. Schubert is still on the DL but I'm getting good OF production at this point. Omar Baber, my rookie SS, had a nice sim and hopefully is getting comfortable at the BLB level.

Next sim kicks off with 3 against Death Valley- will be a gut check for our squad.
