Tick tock on this season. 14-18 and another poor week. Some very good players are possibly available if you need someone. Just ask.

Season ticket sales really lessons the fall out. Wish we had season ticket sales in 05 during the fire sale.

And your pitching, oh man, those guys are dealing in your rotation. 1.89 Starters' ERA! Damn!
He's having a great May for his standards. I don't expect he will keep it up all season but it's nice to have. I think his May along with Collazo and Perkins has helped because everyone else is pretty cold.

Obviously, when the starters are throwing lights out, it makes life easier. This past 6-0 beat down by Philly was the first time one of our starters really got hit hard (Lawrence gave up 5 runs)

That's amazing. I cannot believe we are five weeks in and I'm still seeing sub 2 ERA weeks, along with high strikeout numbers.

If Potter wasn't being an unusual mess, the bullpen would be #1 as well.

I worry about the offense but if we can win when most of the guys are hitting down, then maybe things are okay.

When I come back from Italy, expect to see Tom Pelloni join the squad. He might be forced to play first since Eberly has cooled down considerably. But I'm still debating. Lockard has been the biggest hole in the depth charts.

By the way, I'm okay if I don't have to face Pat Evans anymore. Please keep that in mind Brad.

Denver's defense has been splendid, too. A nice reversal from the group of last decade.

            The pitchers appreciate it.

4-2 and we move over .500 for the first time this year.

After the 0-6 start, we climb our way back.

Milt Stoll, has a new number (6) and has settled in nicely to this point, his Millers career is off to a pretty good start. His batting line is .377/.431/.604 .. 1.035 and 8 of his 20 hits have gone for extra bases.

Robby McGowan is off to a really good start, and has been on fire of late, hitting .347/.383/.492 .. .874 OPS, projected for 21 HR and 105 RBI, he's really been a huge reason why we've been able to improve our record.

2016 3rd round pick Erik Murray made his major league debut taking over for the departed Jamie Davis. The 22 year old was playing at AA Harrisburg when he got the call, mainly because of his glove potential, but his batting line was impressive, .338/.416/.412 .. .827 OPS.

His first week in the show, he hit .400!

This week we will welcome New Orleans for three, then we'll take a trip up to Pawtucket for the first time this year. I'm looking forward to seeing my young guys start to get some big game experience, and this will will certainly be a challenge.

Yup! A few teams have a five-game week at some point during the season.

This schedule seems much improved compared to last year.

Adds a little strategy to your lineup for sure. Hard to peg someones starting rotation.
